Works fine
These a fun way to turn a smaller mason jar into a working soap dispenser. And I LOVE anything that has to do with mason jars! Overall, they work fine. I've been using them for about 4 months now on 3 different mason jars.Pros:* The soap dispenses perfectly. Haven't had any clogs or other problems.* Set up was easyCons:* The white plastic piece that goes under the metal piece has come out of place once on 1 of of my lids, and I had to dip my fingers into the soap to get it out and screw it back on. I'd make sure that when replenishing soap to make sure all parts are screwed on properly.* The metal part is starting to rust on each lid. However, I think it's because the ring that came with my Ball mason jar is causing that. So it's not the best use for a mason jar (with original ring) since soap it used with water...but it's not a terrible thing.

Great for dispensing lotions/liquids, as long as it is not exposed to moisture.
I loved the idea of turning one of the dozens of mason jars I had stacked in a cupboard into a dispenser. The kit is super simple to use, takes less than a minute to put together. I do think that this dispenser would work best with lotions or a liquid that does not get a lot of exposure to moisture. The one I bought, I used as a hand soap dispenser near my kitchen sink. The top ended up rusting in several areas within just a month or two. It finally reached to point that I had to throw then entire jar away because the lid had rusted so much that I could no longer open the jar to refill it with soap.Love the concept, and would probably work great for lotions, but as a soap dispenser that may be exposed to water/moisture... I do not recommend.

because sometimes little things like this don't work out well
We purchased two of these, and have been using them for several months. I wanted to wait awhile before reviewing, because sometimes little things like this don't work out well.Actually, this is a wonderful product. We put one on a quart Mason jar filled with antibacterial soap, to use in the kitchen. It makes cleaning hands very easy, especially if you're fooling around with a raw chicken. All you have to do is hit the pump with your wrist, get the soap on your hands, and no bacteria get anywhere except down the drain.I hitched up the second one with a Mason jar full of hand lotion. It's nice to have it there, and reminds me to use the lotion on my claws. The only Con: with the second one we purchased, it was a little difficult to get the pump part to unwind and 'pop up'. But if you are patient and keep working at it gently, it pops up.Altogether, this is a useful, practical and very cost-effective purchase. (I'm thinking of buying more for the bathrooms.)AMM

Great idea, poor rust quality
Used to make a soap dispenser and like other reviews said, the inside of the lid starts to rust after a few months, even though it does not touch the soap. It's just die to moisture that condenses on the lid on a warm day, even for soap. I ended up buying the one piece stainless lid that had the pre-drilled hole to replace this but reused the collar. It's too as since it turned a $4 lid into a $7 lid.

Will purchase again
Such as neat idea! So, I ordered two. I love that I am able to use this attachment with my mason jar to create an adorable, rustic looking soap pump (I'm all about re-purposing things that I own already). So far I have not had any problems with clogging the tube/dispenser. The only negative thing that I would have to say about this product is that one of my (unopened) packages is missing the tube. Other than that, its a great buy and reasonably priced. I have already recommended to others.

Great as long as your ok with a little discoloration.
Love using this at my sink. I wish the metal inner lid was another material OR was sealed. It rusted within a month.Still a great look and functions perfectly.

Corrodes easily, recommending coating or painting the lids
Corrodes easily, recommending coating or painting the lids. Less expensive than at my local stores. Great for retrofitting any unused mason jars.

I love the concept of such an easy transformation of mason ...
I love the concept of such an easy transformation of mason jars. When I received this the pump base was cracked but it still functions well. One very good thing is that it doesn't drip soap like a lot of other pumps.

Four Stars
Expensive for what it is but works well.

a bit fiddly
Great idea, but the join is a bit lose, the hole a little too big, and therefore a bit fiddly to get set on straight and tightened up enough to be secure.

Nice solid product
I'm using a mason jar for my homemade dish soap. This pump works really well. It feels solid and pumps the soap very nicely. I am ordering more for homemade hand soap.

Great upcycling, and helps save money in the long ru, as well as being environmentally friendly.
Great product, let me convert standard kilner jars into washing up liquid dispenser for beside the sink, and I have four more, two for handwash and hand lotion in both the bathrooms. Able to bulk buy the fillings, saving money and being environmentally friendly. 10/10
