I bought this as a residue-free eco-friendly surfactant to clean green slime algae (cyanobacteria/bluegreen algae) off of aquarium equipment. It is very effective, but a little dab will do ya, and it takes more rinsing than I expected. I put my lid back on and was horrified to have a surface foam for 2 days. Luckily, the dose was so low that everyone was ok, and being eco-friendly, the bacteria broke it down quickly.

My dad uses this with good results on his clogged canal where he lives. Keeps the weeds controlled for him.

I guess I needed to read the fine print because this is a very small bottle

I use this product with a liquid weed killer spray. It does a good job of allowing the chemical to stay on the leaves especially ones with a water repellent surface. Of course he wouldn’t need it on all weeds. I have I did find that for very water repellent leaves like clover I needed to use double or 2 teaspoons per gallon. It works very well when used at that rate. You could achieve the same result with a liquid detergent but it foams too much when you mix it up and foam doesn’t work well in a sprayer.

Second bottle I have bought,Works great, to blue mark what I spray, as I go, efficacy of use of expensive herbicides, also insures accuracy of placement as I go especially when hot out and in the sun spraying, but cap leaks,Manufacturer needs a much better cap that is leak tightSo I have transferred to a better sealing bottle, a small plastic bottle that is leak proof, but have put on, labelled it what is so no confusion risk for anyone including myself
