American Tourister iLite Max Softside Luggage with Spinner Wheels, Light Blue, Carry-On 21-Inch

Update, two years and still a rock star: everything is in great working order - zippers, handles, wheels - and it's still easy to spot on a luggage carousel. ;)This is almost always my rolling carry-on bag when flying, and definitely my bag for road trips. It's seen a lot of miles, been a lot of places, and it's still spinning like it was brand new.Update, one year on: still going strong. This bag has been on countless road trips and airplane adventures, placed in overhead bins and survived being checked, and everything is functioning just as when I purchased it. A snazzy workhorse of a bag.I love this bag. I wanted something a bit smaller than the rolling carry-on I'd had for more than 10 years, as well as something that started out lighter before packing it. This bag has met all of these reasons for purchase and more.I've had it for several months now, and I've taken it on three airplane trips so far. It fits perfectly in the overhead compartments of the mid-size and larger planes. The partially shielded wheels stand up to being pulled, pushed, and spun over every surface. The color I purchased, the orange, makes it very easy to spot on the baggage claim carousels, too.What I wasn't expecting was how roomy inside this bag has ended up being. For a 5-day trip, I took a change of clothes for each of those days, as well as a couple of extra t-shirts, and all of the other usual things one takes, and there was room to spare. Can't beat that.All of the zippers are quality and don't have any sticking points, moving easily. The handle telescopes to two different heights, and those pieces are made of metal, not plastic. The fabric of the bag itself is a tight weave, as one would expect.If you're looking to upgrade your current bag, and at a reasonable price, or deciding upon your first in this size, I recommend this one.

I loved my old AT that is a two wheel. This model was the closest to that one that is a carry on, opened with the 'lid' type and could carry an amazing amount of stuff. However the very thing that I sought on this was its undoing; the way that AT designed and sewed the opening caused the zipper to catch on the inside fabric/piping lower corner fraying the fabric and causing the zipper to get stuck. I returned it in less than a month after one trip for that reason. When the replacement arrived I could see that the new one would be the same thing and the zipper was already sticking after opening it in the postal delivery. I was heartbroken to say the least. I loved the color, I loved the capacity but this design flaw is a deal breaker for me. Maybe they changed the design since it first came out or this is a bad run of them - I don't know.I also didn't like that you cannot use a lock on it where with my old AT carryon you could. If you've ever been forced to gate check your carryons you can appreciate why that's important. I wanted to love this suitcase so much and again it was to replace my American Tourister Splash 2 Upright 21 that's wheels shredded and could not be repaired. That one was only 2 1/2 years old but AT wouldn't repair it. The 10 year warranty was a ruse as they themselves said that due to the type of and way the two wheels were installed on it they could not be replaced. I have owned AT luggage for decades that held up better and longer; they used to be one of the very best but now their products are K-Mart/Sears quality at best and going the same way.I now have a Travelpro 21" that fits the bill, we'll see how it works out.

Product was as expected. I got the 'Orange' one. I knew going into it that this would be a dirt magnet. Sure enough its a bit dirty after the first trip!As for the suit case, I like the fact it has a 'water resistant' section on the lid/lap (?). This fit everything & more for a 4 day trip. Will be using it for a 2 week coming up! The handle was fairly sturdy, even while extended. The wheels rolled fine over most surfaces. As other have stated this bag is larger than described, but I knew that going into it, so I cannot fault the product on this. I had no troubles getting through security, nor did I have any issues stowing it in the overhead bin on Southwest where it fit perfectly straight in / wheels first. The reason initially for the purchase was because my Wife has this same bag in a print pattern and couldn't stop raving about it.

I have both the 21" and 25", as I was so happy with the 25", but now I find I take the 21" more places including two week long trips to Europe. The color choices make it so easy to spot (and the blue matches my hair). It can be packed quite heavy on accident but otherwise, I'm very pleased with this to replace my ten year old hardside suitcases which I thought I couldn't live without.

I order the suitcase in Tangerine because it was the cheapest. I wasn't totally sold on the color, but when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised. It's definitely prettier in person and not the obnoxious orange I was worried about! Seems fairly good quality for the price as well. Would recommend!

I love this bag. We were given one a year prior as a present and loved it so much that we bought a second. It fits for most overhead bins with the exception of the tiny prop planes that require roller bags underneath. I love that it has 4 wheels instead of just two so that I can wheel it on my side or in front when I need. It holds up really well and we'll for sure be buying this brand again.

really nice suitcase! rolls great on the four wheels and is pretty light. I've taken it on several trips now and it's been awesome. the only thing I would caution is that the measurements given (21inches) do not include the wheels. I haven't had a problem yet, but for some airlines this is slightly too large for carry on. I only fly Delta, but it does fit in all of the overhead bins.

Was looking to replace my old AT luggage and this one works fine. I used my last one for 10 years, so hopefully this one will as well. Been using this one for a couple months now and works great. Was concerned about using 4 wheels (old one had 2), but so far so good, no issues.

I bought this baggage assuming it was carry on as the listing said but it's not. When I was in the last filter at the airport the air Canada worker told me that my suitcase was big and fortunately I didn't have to pay but when I came back the same history happened and again I had to take off my laptop and cables. It was the worst experience. The seller has to be honest and give the right size to the buyers. About quality I can say is good one and nice color. ]

Muy buen producto pero sólo lo he ocupado una vez, espero que aguante. El color me encantó pero cuando llegué a mi destino estaba súper sucia la maleta. Creo que es mejor el color obscuro.

LOVE THIS! It does fit as carry on. I flew west jet and on their site the dimensions of thi case are too big, but when I measured it against their sample at the airport it was actually smaller. Love all the pockets and the colour is fantastic!

Versátil, cabe lo suficiente para un viaje de varios días, ligera y con espacios cómodos, ya la utilicé en un par de viajes y me gustó, solo falta ver como responde con el uso prolongado.
