Yeah I've been working around this stuff for a lot of years I knew it was the best that's why I purchased it. I thought it was black. Works Well. This stuff actually works! Klebekraft ko. So, repairing mine was simple for me but might be a little tougher for you. Rope type, screw type and mushroom shaped plugs. I thought it was black. To prevent this from happening, do these two things to make it last at least twice as long: All and all it works GREAT for installing tire leak plugs AT A VERY REASONABLE PRICE ON AMAZON.

I used it to repair a small gash on the tire sidewall that I filled with a glue made for the purpose and covered it up with a quarter-size piece of gaffer tape which I stuck on with the Tech vulcanizing fluid. I spread it so it will also cover the marks from a steel brush that I used to roughen up the area and as you can see in the photo, the dried fluid did it well

Did the job for a proper tire patch repair.

If you are going to make tire repairs you are going to need something like this. Since I was going to repair a tire with an internal boot, this was needed so an order was placed.I am a retired auto mechanic and used products of this type for years. So, repairing mine was simple for me but might be a little tougher for you. But this is probably the best glue/vulcanizing product out there.Now most will not be installing a boot or inside patch. But a bicycle tube repair or installing a tire plug will find that this is always a good product for those jobs.Worked very well for me and I am pleased.
