Worked great all three times!
I purchased this product twice for what I believe are wasps or something that looks like wasps. They have built three nests so far this year so I have used this three times so far. I waited for for dusk and found the latest one under the eve of the garage. When I looked with a flashlight I could see a large nest with at least 6 full grown wasps moving around doing something in the rear of their nest, I didn't see anything else moving at the time but it did look like an active nest. I stood back as far as I could and still be able to see the nest, aimed and fired starting at the rear of the nest where I spotted the wasps moving around. It shoots out in a stream but turned into a foam as soon as it started hitting the nest. I have used several other types of sprays over the years and the only draw back is the wasps always either fly out or drop and crawl around on the ground. After I sprayed the whole nest I stood back waiting for them to drop but the only thing that I noticed was a few clumps of the thick foam dripped down the side of the garage just below where I sprayed. I waited a bit but nothing else ever fell away from the nest, I finally got the flashlight again and tried to look all over the ground for wasps but still found none. I have 3 dogs so I didn't want angry wasps crawling around to sting them. When I looked at the nest in the light from the flash light i could only see thick foam with a couple of wasps still moving a bit but they still couldn't get out. The next day I looked at the nest in the daylight and it just looked like a large brown lump, im pretty sure those wasps never got out. I have used this three times now and it has been so great not having to worry so much about an angry wasp stinging me or having to clean up dead or dying wasps from the ground so my dogs won't be stung. I will buy this one from now on, totally easy for me to use and kept those wasps contained so none ever dropped onto the ground. I would recommend for sure!

Good product for controlling bees at a distance
I live in the country and have many outbuildings. There are always bee nest too close for safety and this has worked well. Has never failed to spray or clogged.

Wasp Nest Killer - Roof Overhang
Had a relatively small wasp nest starting at the peak of one of my roof sections. I waited until the evening, per direction instructions. I sprayed this about 8-10 feet, and it worked well. As soon as the wasps were hit, they immediately fell to the ground, and although they were still alive, you could tell they weren't getting back up. Swept up the dead wasps later. I left the nest alone so any additional wasps that returned later would not rebuild it. However, by the time I did have the time to get up to remove the nest (probably about a week later), living wasps were able to return and use the nest again (no sprinklers or anything were able to wash the nest up that high). I had to spray a second time, and then made sure to remove the nest a day or two later and cleaned the area. No wasps have returned since.Safety note: Make sure you use your own best judgement and the directions on the can, but I made sure to wear nitrile gloves, a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, mostly air-tight goggles, and a good dust mask when I sprayed this up towards my roof. I also made sure no one was outside at my direct neighbor's houses. This stuff does not come out in a perfect stream, which means it does have bits that spray out into the air. Also, it definitely got on the gloves quite a bit as it sprayed.

I may have received the wrong oroduct
When this got here today I was relieved. Last week when my grandson was outside playing in the pool, is when I first noticed that I had carpenter bees. Had them a few years ago at bottom of garage. They were actually very quick and simple to get rid of that time. So were the ones on the other side of the house that were like going into one of my window or blowing into one of my windowsills. This time they are inside garage near the hinges of door. The day I saw them I had gotten a bottle with dishwashing soap and some home defense stuff from the house and was out there with one in each hand spraying at them keeping them as far away from the pool as I could. Though a couple times my grandson went running towards them to see what I was doing fortunately a friend of mine was here and ran up and grabbed him and got him going the other direction again. It is possible actually probable that I'm allergic to bee stings I was stung on the ankle, in Spain and my leg swelled up so big I couldn't wear anything but skirts for over a week almost 2. So I'm very leery of any kind of bee.I had gotten some stuff quick delivered from one of the nearby stores like a couple days after that and went out there and sprayed the entire area that of course killed off a few but not all of them of course.I went over into the garage so I could get good aim at the door and aimed it at them or at the wall there and the cracks in it where they were going in and out. I'm guessing that any that were inside when I started spraying were trapped inside if not dead. I thought it was late enough in the evening where they'd all be back there but as I was standing in the garage one showed up then two then three soon it was 5 all blocking my path out the door. I will say that they stayed a little ways back from where the spray had hit, so they sense it's dangerous I'm guessing. The problem is that one the bottles are so small there was no way I was qmaking out the door with what I had left in it if it just been one or two maybe. Problem number two would be that I nailed at least three of them almost dead on and they did not even slow down they sure as heck didn't drop dead on the ground. So yeah killing on contact might be a little bit on the optimistic side unless like I said maybe I got the wrong product because it has a different top than all the others I've seen on here.I would have only given it two stars except that one the foaming stuff is keeping them from going back into their little Hive unfortunately cuz I still have to go shut the door and take the time to actually deadbolt it because I've got couple people renting it out for storage and a lot of stuff in there. When I grab my little pup and headed for the house and I gave up on finishing my pool before the kids get here tomorrow getting the filter going all the way. There were several very large very ticked off bees swarming around that door. I thought about trying the second bottle seeing maybe they you know sent two different products or something but this one has the same incorrect top with no tab to break off of it or anything like that. I'm hoping, they've either settled or wandered off by the time I go back out so I can take the time to put the C clamp on the hose so it doesn't blow apart every few seconds so I can have the filter running for a few hours. Or maybe just drain it and refill it tomorrow and try and warm it up for them somehow. Figure if I drain it I can also drag it 15-20 ft farther out into the yard. Get in front of over where I haven't seen any of them yet. I'm going to have to reach out to Amazon and find out what we can do about this situation because the only thing I know of that's really recommended for carpenter bees is wasp and hornet spray and it's supposed to drop them just as fast as it does anything else. I was hoping to have them mostly dead by morning and then have somebody come over here and seal up the holes and then respray it because we don't have much time left to be able to use the pool and with bees out there I can't exactly have my grandchildren out there playing. All I can say is I'm extremely disappointed in the product I was sent not only for the fact that it didn't work on contact maybe it works after a few minutes so I'm hoping I go back out there and find three or four deadbees laying around there they're opening there. Really kind of sucks is in the time I was dealing with them it's now gotten dark outside so anything I do with the pool I'm going to be doing in the dark because it's around the back where there isn't the light. I have always found Black flag products to be dependable so I am just beyond disappointed in this one.

Works
Wasps were trying to nest behind one of my windows. I tried a different brand of repellant. The wasps disappeared for a couple of days, then returned, so I tried this stuff. Haven't seen a wasp since.

Foaming Action is Fantastic!
This spray does not bounce off its target - - it foams up and makes it impossible for wasps to exit nest without being coated in the foam. I really like it!

Need a direct hit
It's Okay. You do need a direct hit At the nest And on the bug itself it seems to kill and kill anything It doesn't have a long lasting effect
