Thirstystone Stoneware Coaster Set, Gypsy Blossoms

Some of the other reviewers are correct: this isn't as absorbent as other thirstystone coasters. But I've been very satisfied with them nevertheless. They aren't NOT absorbent. I usually drink white wine and the class will drip with condensation -- these are prefect for that. They are also larger than other coasters making them great for not only wine glasses but large mugs as well. They could even double as trivets. Not to mention the prints are gorgeous and overall seem very well made. Would purchase again and highly recommend.

Definitely a step up in quality over generic versions. They tend not to stick to cups like the off brand ones. Pattern and detail is attractive.

I bought another set of thirstyware because I was really looking forward to the coasters absorbing drippy glasses. They are beautiful, so if absorption not an issue, get the, thirstyware is Great!

I love the design, it goes with my decor! These definitely absorb water, which, after all, is their job!

Beautiful coasters! I bought the scroll stand that you can buy separately for $7.50 and the bold colors look great in my living space. The stones are not quite as thirty as I was anticipating, but even thought the function is not quite there, they look fantastic.

I have had several coaster sets from different companies over the years so I didn't expect any problems. While they are pretty, that's all they are. They don't absorb a drop of water. Not a drop. Condensation from your beverage glass just puddles up on top. I actually came on line today because I had been meaning to return them. But today is 5/13/17 & the close for returning was 5/12/17. Great. Just another annoyance with this product.

These coasters are very colorful and pretty. They are very absorbant. I've never had a glass stick to these, like some of the other coasters do.

These are very pretty and are complimentary to our decor. BUT, I have to say that I am very disappointed in the quality/strength of these coasters. Over the years, I have purchased several sets of Thirstystone coasters. I purchased 2 sets and 1 of the 4 coasters in each set came with chips out of the upper design surface. I returned one set with the chipped edges and received a replacement set. Now, just a couple of days later, one of the coasters has a large chip in it. We have absolutely no idea how it became chipped - don’t remember even knicking it with anything. It seems to be that the make up of the coaster material is very soft and not at all durable.
