LED Lenser X7R

expensive but worth every penny

I've seen several forums where so-called experts have many bad things to say about the X7R and Led Lenser products in general. I won't pretend to be an expert on flash-lights myself, but I can say that this is the nicest and brightest version I've ever owned and it exudes quality. It packs an unbelievable punch given its size. With the focus set to floodlight, it creates an extremely bright flood with excellent spread. I haven't yet been able to truly explore long range performance due to lack of open space, but it does light up objects 150 - 200 meters away with incredible brightness. My experience so far also seem to suggest that run time between recharges is more than adequate.It may be expensive but I think the cost is more than offset by the long term saving of not having to replacing batteries.I do not for one moment regret buying the X7R.

Expensive but a great rechargeable flashlight. Holds its charge well. In W. Texas we just went through a serious ice storm and we were without electric for six days. With a full charge the light lasted through out (not constant use but night time use). I just ordered a second Led Lenser flashlight for the next time. I have only used two modes of lighting this light does have different modes which would be useful in case of a car emergency. It recharges off a USB wall charger and the connection on the flashlight end is magnetic which is simple. Very good value for the bucks.

This is by far the best flashlight I've ever owned. We replaced a 10million candlepower handheld with this and WOW! It's lighter, easier to manage, just as bright and more directed light, and it lasts WAY longer. We really like the ability to use it as a floodlight or spotlight. And the charger....way cool! I would recommend to anyone looking for high quality illumination. Well worth the $$

All their products seem to be made really well. It is awesome how the charger attaches by magnet. I have 3 of LED Lenser products and I like them all. This light was not as bright as I would have thought next to the M7R but still a great flashlight for any outdoor enthusiast.
