This bottle helped our son transition to Sippies
We tried for months to get our son to take his milk in a sippy cup, but he is fully addicted to that sucking mechanism and comfort of the bottle. We finally got him to take this Nuby cup, starting with the nipple insert that is more like a bottle, and then switching to the sippy nipple. We also used the wide mouth version of this, but it doesn't fit into his carseat cup-holders so we got this thinner one to try. The narrower spout took him a bit to adjust to, but now he will take it interchangeably with the wide-mouth version. The cup itself is pretty durable, however, we have had to buy several replacement nipples. Our son likes to chew on it and the nipples all started to drip within a week or two.I suppose that its difficult to create rubber nipples that are durable enough to withstand chewing while still providing that comforting latch, but it was disappointing that this one went so fast.We were able to order replacement sippy nipple inserts on the Nuby website, but couldn't find them anywhere else.

Took some time, but they work great now
I ordered these bottles after having issues with Playtex Ventaire bottles leaking all over my baby's chin and neck and contributing to a neck rash. My 6 month old was using the fast flow nipples so I suspected that it might be an issue to switch to the variable flow. I also bought some fast flow standard nipples in case the variable flow didn't work out. When I first started with the Nuby bottles my baby would only drink 2 or 3 ounces before he got frustrated, I would then switch over to the fast flow nipple and he would finish the bottle. After several days of this, he eventually got to where he would drink the whole bottle with the variable flow nipple. So it took some time for him to get used to them, but now he is fine with them.I love that these bottles are 11 ounce because my baby is drinking about 10oz a feeding now. I also like that they come with handles and a sippy cup type nipple. There are not many parts to wash which is also nice. Using the variable flow nipple, my baby doesn't swallow much air at all, he barely even needs to burp. They don't leak at all when tipped over which is great. When my baby drinks, he will occasionally have a little stream of milk come out of the corner of his mouth, but nothing like his old bottles. I am really happy I was able to get these to work, plus my baby's neck rash is much better!I definitely recommend these bottles, but keep in mind it might take some time for baby to get used to them, so don't give up.

Good trainer
I bought two of these because they were what I was looking for in terms of no leaking and transition. After we had them for about a month they started to leak profusely. I found out the bottle nipple slit was a hole (I’m hoping from my kid chewing).Since those were toast, i decided to just use the sippy trainer because I couldn’t find replacement nipples and luckily he’a fine with it and we solved the drip problem for the most part.If your kid flings or shakes it, milk will spray out!

Colors may vary.
Which works out for me. I am trying to ween my son off of regulr bottles and I think these will help. I mean they are very much like sippy cups due to how they are. and I did get a pink one, purple, green, and orange one (I ordered 4) but they are all hot colors not the light colored pastels that they show in the second picture.. and even if it is hot pink or bright purple, it reminds him of a toy. and he likes it. So if it was light pastel, I might have minded but how it is these bright and stimulating colors, who cares, if it bothers you that much you can pay like 2-3 dollars more at walmart or target and get the same bottles only they can be your own choice. babies r us also has them for about 5 dollars more. But here if you are planning on buying 25 dollars or more no shipping fees and it saves you the gas money and the extra few dollars. So whichever way you choose, but personally, these obnoxiously bright colors to me are completely unisex and my son loves them, so why should I complain??

Sent me a purple bottle for April definitely a no for me
The bottle was fine. I picked the color blue, and they sent me a purple one for a boy. The problem is not the bottle it’s the color he’s a boy.

Good for juice and water
I haven't used these 11oz bottles yet but I do have one that's 8 oz and I love it and so does my little one. I do love that these are bigger and love the colors. I also love it has a cap so the nipple isn't exposed to everything flying around in the air.Update::: I changed it to 4 starts cause I feel like my baby is having a hard time sucking to get the milk to come out.

It's a good bottle.
Received a Nuby bottle in a gift basket full of stuff at my shower. Never expected to use it, but at almost 6 months old my daughter stopped taking her normal bottles when we graduated to the new nipple. I pulled out the Nuby and tried it as a last resort because I couldn't take it anymore. To my shock she loved it! She is teething and likes to run her gums over the bumps on the nipple. She is also learning to hold her own bottles due to the handles. I have to say I read the reviews of others stating that the bottle leaks and yes it can leak BUT if you readjust the nipple it stops. I think it was worth the money. We bought 7 of them in different colors.

It made transition really easy
For us this was a life saver. Our pediatrician really wanted our twins off the bottle after 13 months and by then we tried several cups and nothing worked , they simply wouldn't let go of Medela bottles they loved . but with this bottle the transition was really smooth. One thing I would like to mention that ,the only problem I found was the damage to the thin slicon valve . I had to keep an eye on it other wise my kids could swallow it along with the milk.to be very frank , once the valve was gone they still loved it and would drink the really fast flowing milk .
