Q: So i’m usually a size small, sometimes medium, but based upon the dimensions given i’m an xl??? is this right? 29.5” waist and 37.5” hips

I am a small and sometimes a medium. So I ordered a medium and it fits great. To be honest a large may be more comfortable, but I bought it to wear under my dresses to replace a shaper wear so a medium worked for me. If you looking to wear it to the gym or around your house a large may be more comfortable.

Q: My waist is a 27 and my hips are a 38, what size should i get and how many shorts come in a pack?

My dimensions are just slightly smaller and small was little roomier but not bad. Small should be perfect for you

It's just the shorts. The top is sold separately.

Q: Can you wear these in a swimming pool?

I bought these to swim in. To wear with a tankini top and they are perfect.
