Solid. Dependable.
I've had this tester for several yrs, & still works great. (Bot two, in fact.) Whether for alkaline or rechargeable, no issues. I think the components are delicate--I keep it in a drawer ☆☆

Functional and very useable but not ideal, great in a kit of other items
This thing feels really cheap and it is, but it works fairly well. The readings felt mostly accurate, but obviously since there aren't many stickers and a dial as indicators with no gradient it can be difficult to have full confidence about how bad a good battery is when it is on the low end of bad.it can be hard to align the aa battery with the bottom (-) contact and it seems like you can get slightly different readings depending on how good you attach the battery to it.ValueIts a decent value. I would have rather got this for free in a kit instead of buy it and instead bought a full multi meter for nearly 4 times the price.

Works most of time.. handy tool.
Works perfect.. tricky to make electrical contact between battery and tester terminals.. need slight rise in contact points of tester as base of battery sometimes interferes.,
