CorningWarePop-Ins 20-ounce Mug w/ Blue Vented Plastic Cover, White (Pack of 4)

I have warmed up soups / drinks in this mug by placing it on the range , low heat.Might have contributed to the fine hair line crack near the bottom. It doesn't leak so I continue to use it.I bought more for Xmas presents to add to the cozy winter days.

These CorningWare mugs are awesome because they not only look great and are well made, they are very practical as well. I use them mainly for soup and love the vented cover which prevents splashing when heating up the food in the microwave. The soup heats evenly and you can also grip the handle without burning your hands as opposed to other mugs I've used in the past. Besides stacking well, they take up less room than a bowl on my shelf! It's also easy to transport the mug from the kitchen to other parts of the house/apartment without spilling anything. You can't go wrong with CorningWare, it's a great purchase!!! I highly recommend this item!!!

They arrived in a timely manner and exactly as described. These mugs are a great size for soup or even other things, one might want to heat up. My only issue is with the lids. They fit too tightly, when microwaving liquid items, like soup, prying off the lid may cause spillage. My other issue with the lids is that they do stain (as when heating tomato based liquids) and the stain is almost impossible to remove. My husband still uses the lids, but I do not. The mugs alone are worth the purchase.

I really love these mugs and use them all the time. They are so handy and versatile, from fridge to oven to table. No more lidless bowls with oatmeal spilling over the sides, no more having to take a plastic dish out of the freezer and putting the food into a microwavable dish, doubling the used dishes. No more cracking a favorite cup in the microwave. If you're like me and want to conserve as much space as possible, these are a great choice. They're pretty pricey, but then, just one mug is a power horse that replaces a lot of less efficient dinnerware.

great cups, non stain. very heavy and well made. Large enough for large cans of soup with room to grow. Wish I would have ordered them sooner.
