I liked the 6pt ratcheting stuff tekton used to sell, a shame they discontinued em
A shame they discontinued all the good ratcheting Six point wrenches they had and the new 12pt are ok but not what I’m looking for

necessary
this is the most used size at my work and I had to grab the stubby...it works just as good as BRAND NEW wrenches..

Another high-value Tekton
As usual, no problems with this wrench or any other Tekton hand tools.

Better design than the replacement version
6 poin is superior to 12. Especially with a ratchet wrench and the fact that 99% of the bolts and nuts are 6. Only upgrade needed was to increase the tooth count. Tekton made a big mistake discontinuing this product.

Good wrench for the price
Does the job. Just wish it had a lever to switch it

Convenient
This wrench is perfect for tightening and loosening the hitch bolt on my awesome Saris hitch-mount bike rack. I wanted a 6-point instead of 12-point socket for the strength needed to torque the hitch bolt tightly, and wanted a simple flip of the wrench to reverse the ratchet rather than a switch lever that could easily get bumped when reaching down and around the bike rack to get the wrench onto the bolt. Since I already have wrench sets that meet my everyday needs it made sense to buy this individual wrench for its specific use, and carry it in the glove compartment.

Bongos
I got this to use on my bongos which use two nuts: the first tightens the drum head and the second jams against the first to lock it in place. The drums come with a small stamped metal wrench. This is just a luxury for me. It is easier to position and keep on task.

Better then Craftsman
Have replaced a number of lost or broken wrenches with Tekton, they are better than Craftsman, Kobalt and Husky by far.
