Skyflame 42" X 18" Rectangular Fire Pit Glass Wind Guard Replacement for Outdoor

This glass is heavy duty and fits great. Easy to put together and blocks the wind well. Without this even the slightest breeze knocks the flame down. This keeps the flame sting and good heat. Worth the investment and looks great.

The Skyflame came pretty well protected in the box it was sent in. It assembled very easily and looked very nice on the table. It fit perfectly and really dressed up the table. It works as advertised as where we live the wind can sometimes be strong. The flame from the pit was barely affected by the wind and it looked so nice behind the glass. You could still feel the heat off of it and I would caution you that the glass does get hot so keep that in mind and remind your guests while you are using it with the pit. I thought it was a bit expensive compared to a couple others I looked at but all in all I’m pleased with the purchase. I would advise keeping the box if you live in a region like I do that will not allow me to keep it out year round. Very nice addition to our table.

The unit works fine on the fire pit, once it is assembled. Two 'extra' sets of hands were instrumental in the assembly of this item. It is also very helpful to have some shims handy to hold up the panels as they are assembled and the screws are tightened. Note that there are absolutely no instructions included. Instructions are not really necessary as it is pretty obvious how to assemble it, but some guidance, as listed above, would have been good up front (extra hands, shims, etc). After assembly, it is a good idea to transport the assembled unit on a large, flat surface, such as a plywood panel.

Extremely easy to assemble. Was worried because of the price (inexpensive); but, the look and sturdiness of it gives the impression that we paid much more. Tried it for the first time on a cool, breezy Texas evening....it was perfect!! Flames were steady and the overall setting was warm.

One corner of the glass was slightly chipped but it was covered but the connections. It was well packaged but the screws and connectors were loose inside of the box. Two of the screws became jammed inside the connectors and we had a hard time getting them out. The company could save a lot of hassle for their customers if they just placed the connectors and the screws in separate baggies instead of throwing them in loose. Once we got the connectors and screws separated, it was pretty easy to put together. We can run a higher flme in the fire pit and it looks very pretty. I deducted 1 star because of the chipped glass and the connector screw issue. I didn't bother contacting the company because the chip is covered and we needed to use it right away.

I couldn’t keep it because it was a little to narrow. I put it together and it was thick and sturdy.

Very poor quality hardware. Screws not wanting to thread up, had to use a knife under the screws to align properly, took 3 times as long to put together, worked fine after totally installed, would not recommend

Arrived with one of sides shattered so it was not usable. Only option was to return. Did not offer replacement part.
