Sublime dish drying rack! Seriously.
I looked for over a month trying to find a dish drying rack that was reasonably priced, attractive, sturdy, and functional. I looked at hundreds! One of the things that was really important was something that would work with a raised lip sink, which makes draining awkward.Well, after buying and using it for almost 2 months I can report I am extremely happy with my purchase. I can put an amazing amount of dishes in it and everything stacks nicely, plus the drain functionality and utensil holder is great. I like that it has little legs so there's some breathing space underneath. I place it on a dish drying pad, so that the pad sits beyond the back of it by about 6 inches and I can put items there also. (Large knives, ladles, etc.)Don't laugh, but it's a pleasure to do the dishes now. I will try to upload some photos tomorrow. I really like the look of it in my kitchen.

Nice Rack!
This dish rack is smaller than the average wire one, but it looks nice. The only problem that I have with it is if your counter is a bit slanted like ours (old apartment building), the drainage dish holds the water and overflows out of the side and not the spout. It was an easy fix by putting a few wooden coasters under the appropriate leg to guide the water. Also, they should have made the drainage slats and tray the full length of the bottom of the rack. I understand that they are trying to keep them small so you have the option of placing the spout at the narrow end of the dish rack, but maybe put the slats all the way across the bottom and sell an add on drainage tray that has the spout at the other end. This way the water doesn't accumulate in the corners. Wow, this is a long review.......Bottom line, if you don't live in a crusty old apartment building that has slanted kitchen counters you will be happy with this dish rack!

0 Problems...100% Pleased!!
Best rack I've had in years! Thank you reviewers!! Mine drains fine even though I did purchase the silicone mat...they look good together and are multi-functional apart. I've had it maybe a month or so now and no rust!!! I find it about the same size as most dish racks out there. It looks really nice and seems very sturdy and durable. Love the giant silicone topped pegs - holds my dishes in place incl. wine decanters/glasses and lots of odd shaped dishes. Never had a problem trying to make something for. I like that you can move the caddy around as well. As far as water collecting on the bottom - it never seems to be very much and I think it just dries by itself. Havent noticed any slime or stench from not drying out the rack. I've been on the hunt for a decent dish rack for over a year and extremely pleased with the looks and functionally of this one. If you've ever had dishes crash, you'll love the pegs.

Beautiful aesthetics, good materials, functionality not always great
Like other OXO products, this is a beautiful modern design on a common household device, but like other OXO products the functionality may be weak (OXO rubber bathtub hair catch, I’m thinking of you).First off, the drainage is not well implemented. Like other comments here, the spill tray angle is too shallow for anything but the most level counters but the fix, as mentioned, is easy. Just unsnap the two connectors nearest the sink and the water will drain. My complaint is not that but that the entire rack is prone to holding water. The drainage holes to the spill tray are not in the right places for where the water will puddle. The drainage holes look nice where they are but the water has other places to accumulate. Perhaps a perfectly level counter doesn’t have this problem but how many of us have that? Second, the rack itself is not easy to clean unless you have a dishwasher. The pegs, while very useful, make hand washing the rack a chore. If you don’t have a dishwasher, as we don’t, consider something else.

Hard to Clean
Initially I loved this dish rack. It looks sturdy, and, well, like a nice dish rack. I got it because it had feet that would raise it up above the lip of my sink. Well, the feet weren't quite high enough so I had to give it a little boost with plastic soda bottle lids. That made me feel innovative, plus, they were *reclaimed* plastic lids that I had picked up at the beach, so I got to feel smug because I probably saved 4 sea turtles. So then I extra loved it.Then, a week later, I had to clean it for the first time. I live in the damp Pacific Northwest, so maybe mildew grows faster here; the thing gets filthy fast. It grows a slime layer and has to be scrubbed twice a week . Those little spiky points that stick up? A toothbrush fits between them, but as you drag it along each spiky part whacks your hand and the brush isn't quite the right angle and takes a long time. I can fit a dish scrubber between the spikes if I turn my hand side-ways and use one finger to drag the corner of the scrubber along each groove and between those spikes, meanwhile it catches on every spike and has to be re-positioned. I bet a dishwasher would really help out here, but I got the dish rack because I don't have a dishwasher. It takes longer to clean this dish rack than it takes to wash a full sink of dirty dishes. It's only 15 minutes, but when that has to be done twice a week, it adds up to two hours month. I work full time. I spend 15 hours a week commuting. I have a family. That two-hours a month is precious and could be used for something more important, like writing snarky Amazon reviews.OXO was created to help someone with Arthritis. How is an arthritic person supposed to clean this thing? This dish rack is so poorly designed that I no longer trust the company, and I am certain that they no longer believe in their original mission.

Elegant look. Very nice.
I used to buy Stainless Steel Dish Drainers but I had to buy them very often because they got rust. I was afraid of buy this product, but I am very happy because is sturdy, has a elegant look and it is big.
