9mm laser worked excellent. I checked the reviews before I got it and I was a little skeptical, but I put it on a marble slate, rolled it, and it held dead true. Sited in my Holosun EPS-carry on a Glock 43x at 20 yards incredibly accurate out to about 25-30 yards fantastic bore site 👍

1st Bore SighterThis review sums up more experience using a 9MM Walther PDP 4in with a C&H precision RDO:Solid attempt. Quality is great. Extra batteries is amazing. The case is an excellent touch too. But I didnt buy this for any of that. I bought a laser to bore sight with. And frankly- this doesn't do that at all. The laser is 1" off at 1meter. Extrapolate from there and a 15m zero has you so far off target that you could not reliably hit the paper to even see how far off it is. Inaccuracy is its only con. But also the only thing its intended to be good at.2nd Bore SighterSo, I had the company send out another boresighter and used it on my 4 in Full-size Walther PDP with a C&H Precision RDO and my wife's 4 in Full-size F Series Walther PDP with a C&H Precision RDO. Both firearms were already zeroed so I knew that if I made any changes it would be wrong. Upon placing the boresighter in the firearm and acquiring my target, it was off 3in to the left and low 4 in to the left at 10 yards. Now I know I could say I'm on paper so that's enough but its not if I buy a boresighter then I expect that at 10 pr 15yds I can get a hard zero without wasting ammunition to do so. The green light was bright and there weren't any issues removing it from either firearm but it's ineffective for zeroing a firearm in my opinion.

This company makes two styles of 9mm bore sights, I bought both. This shorter one is sized like a normal cartridge and is no less bright than the longer one. This shorter one extracts like a normal case, which is convenient but alignment is affected by touch of an extractor. There is normally a loose fit to the bore. The fit can be improved by using one layer of transparent tape with no overlap. The centering of the laser can be checked by clamping in a drill to see if the laser point shifts when rotated, both were good enough. The slide can be slowly lowered onto the longer one but needs to be dropped harder onto the short one so the extractor will hook. This shorter one will more consistently point to the right of true aim due to extractor pressure. Neither is perfect, but my preference would be the shorter one because it has a longer bore contact area and is no longer than necessary.

Purchased this to help sight in my new red dot. I thought that a green laser would work well against the red dot. This is better than those bore sights that stick in the end of the barrel as they are not actuate at all. Very easy to use and works pretty well. The only down side is that the laser does not seat in the 9mm chamber easily. You have to play with it to get it to seat. Seems to work well, but is more expensive than similar products.

Compact in a little matchbox style container. You put in the two batteries use it then remove the batteries and they lasted a long time. Many uses. Would like a 22lr size one too but for some reason cannot find one that is ammo sized. I lost mine so I reordered it.

If the 9mm version would take 3 LR41s, it would be a great piece of gear but it can only take 2 and is quite dim to start with. The only way to use it in a dark room or at night. I tried putting in 3 batteries but while the laser is bright, the screw-cap would go in all the way preventing it from loading correctly into the chamber and ejecting.I measured the diameter of the boresight with Mitutoyo dial calipers, accurate to 0.02mm and got various readings of 9.70,9.74,9.76mm. The spec for 9x19 luger is 9.65mm. I did not measure other dimensions. Putting it by hand into the chamber of a Glock 19.5, there was a tiny bit of play but I don't know what the specs on the Glock barrel are, but I suppose even having a diameter beyond spec, it's OK as it would haven even more play otherwise if it were exactly 9.65mm.The laser itself is VERY accurate. The way I determined it is that I put the boresight in a V-block and rotated it by hand watching the spot a way about 10 yards away. The spot barely budged, possibly less than 1-2mm, which makes it extremely accurate for aligning pistol sights.4 of the supplied batteries were duds, not producing even 1.3V (they're supposed to be 1.5+ V new). I guess this might be part of the reason why the spot is dim. Whatever strength the working battery pair had was sapped fast in only a few minutes.Overall the build quality is excellent. This would have been a 5-star product but the brightness/battery issue makes it only borderline useful.

Works great. Made it easier to get my hand gun sighted in prior to range.

I bought this thinking i would use to sight a handgun but wont rack in the chamber due to the shell casings lip is a bit different. without the slide moving fully forward the barrel its not level and therefor cannot be used. should work perfect for a long rifle.

I was surprised it was not more accurate due to being a laser inside the bore. I still had to do a fair bit of shooting to zero my optical sights properly.

Tried this on already zeroed Holosun 507C-GR installed on Glock 34 Gen 5 and found laser pointer exactly on the centre line of my green dot but at least 2 inches too high. Do not think this bore sight can be used for accurate zeroing. Note: Slide not fully locked up when loaded into chamber on either Glock/Sig or HK pistols. *****Defective device????*****A total waste of money as it does not work as advertised! Product returned!Buyers beware!!!

Worked well. It will pay for itself with the ammo that it will save you when sighting in. It will get you close before taking a shot.

On a positive side, it does work, it is packaged nicely, and it could be adjusted to zero it.On a negative, it is oversized and leaves the gun out of battery. It also has a solid "butt", so if you accidentally dry fire - you may ruin the striker pin. That could be fixed by dremel'ing a little pit for the striker to dip into, but that's a bit of an unnecessary homework - which could have totally be done when fabricated.So just there at being usable for training, much less so for actual zeroing. At least it works, which is already a win for these devices - though the $25 price tag is excessive for what it is!
