Victorinox Climber Swiss Army Knife, 14-Function Pocket Knife, Silver

I've always loved Swiss Army knives, and the Climber is one of the best all-around models Victorinox makes. It includes a practical selection of tools without becoming bulky in your pocket, making it useful for everyday tasks, travel, and those little situations where you're suddenly the only prepared person in the room. The fit and finish are exactly what you'd expect from Victorinox. The tools open smoothly, lock firmly into place, and have the quality and attention to detail that have made these knives legendary. I actually purchased these as gifts for my groomsmen, and they were a huge hit. They're practical, timeless, and something people will actually use long after the wedding is over. Years from now, every time they open a bottle, trim a loose thread, or use the scissors, they'll remember where they got it. Overall, the Climber is a fantastic Swiss Army knife and an excellent gift idea for anyone who appreciates quality and usefulness.

Best balance of size and fuction, I think -- if you need scissors and not-so-much a saw. Get a Huntsman if you need both, but to me the three-layer SAKs are most carry-able and this is the best selection of tools available in three layers.

I was looking for a swiss army knife, and Victorinox came heavily recommended to me. It's so small, and fits in any pocket or bag. It's high quality, and the knives haven't dulled at all. It's hard to pull open, but I figure that the mechanism will loosen after more usage. I brought it to a camping trip, and I used it multiple times. The scissors are very strong, and very sharp. The tweezers are very handy, but aren't the strongest. They work in a pinch, but a normal pair will work much better. The corkscrew is great for untying knots. If you twist the screw under a knot and pull, it can get most knots out easily. The knife overall is very light, and I don't even notice it in my pocket.

I picked up the Victorinox Climber because I wanted something compact but useful for everyday stuff. It’s a good size to carry in a pocket or bag without feeling bulky. The tools feel solid and well-made, and the two blades are sharp right out of the box. The scissors work better than I expected for something this small. The corkscrew, screwdrivers, and other little tools are nice to have and come in handy more often than you’d think. The sapphire color looks great too - kind of a clear blue that stands out without being too flashy. If you want a classic Swiss Army knife that's versatile but still easy to carry, the Climber is a really good choice.

Who doesn't love a Victorinox. Has everything I need - especially wanted one with tweezers & a corkscrew, and the tiny size is great for my purse when needed.

Beautiful knife with great functionality. Very sharp knife and scissors, and very useful tools. The only shortcoming is that some tools are hard to open and difficult to close smoothly. I have many other Victirinox swiss army knives, including Forester, Rambler, and Compacts. This one has the toughest opening and detent.

A quality Victorinox, with a classier look. Perfect for the man that dresses nice.
