My mother in law is in a nursing home and her tv remote, although clearly labeled with her name, would often go missing. After having to replace it a couple of times I looked for a way to make her remote not so mobile and that's when I found this. To date it has worked VERY well. I attached it to the wall behind her tv and the remote hangs a little bit below the bottom of her wall mounted tv so that it can be seen. You pull it down a bit, use it and then let it return to its spot. I no longer goes wandering into other rooms.

Great items. Ordered 2, got them minus 3 screws and the Allen wrench. Other than that they are sturdy with 3m adhesive. Great products.

I do short term rentals and have been so worried my dyson remote and AC remote were going to disappear. Works great for the dyson remote which still can sit on stop while attached to the base. By adding a little extra wire with the adjustable pin it can still rotate perfectly and remain on top. Love this for the AC remote as well which I had tethered with long wire bags ties which was not cute. Happy I found these!

I used this to tether a TV remote to a coffee table. It was great while it lasted, but the wire snapped after only 2 months.

We purchased these for the game room in our lodge to keep gaming system components secured in the room. The adhesive is very good, and keeps all the controllers and loose items in the room where they need to stay. This basically keeps honest people honest, and prevents people from "borrowing" things that need to stay put. This is not really for securing extremely expensive items from serious thieves - there are other products made for that. If you've got small-ish items worth under about $100 that you want to make available in common areas, and want keep them from walking off then this should work for you.

The cord was a little shredded when we got it, but we thought it was no big deal. Then after 2 months it was so bad it stopped retracting.

I got one it broke before 3 weeks so I exchange and now 5 weeks later the second is broken I don’t recommend this product

Product is easy to use and provides a better deterrent to leaving electronics unsecured. Of course, with enough brute strength, someone could break the lock. However, with this product they would be seen before they could just walk off with the item. The adhesive is great for items that have no mounting system for a lock. The adjustable cord is convenient so that a constant pull is not put on the lock. We use this product to secure a portable DVD player and projector to a cart in an area that sees multiple uses and visitors.
