Almost perfect.
For car tent camping, it's perfect. It has plenty of room. It did take me 20 minutes setting it all up by myself (not the easiest tent I've put up). The porch area has ample space for chairs, table, backpacks and a storage locker(s). The sleeping area sleeps 4 comfortably which also has a divder to split the room if need be. This tent is capable of sleeping 8 if needed. I like the quality. No zipper snags. The nylon material is way better than the ones that are made here in the states. I'm stoked with the pod concept. It keeps condensation off the camper. Condensation still occurs but is left to the outter membrane and off the pod. I like not needing a rainfly. Another clever idea is the draw straps on the bottom corners of the outside of the tent. So after staking down the tent, one can pull onto the strap and really snug it down. The front has great visibility. Crystal clear plastic. (Not sure of the material). I hope it doesn't yellow or crack over time. The only design flaws are all related. The rear window and vents are much too small. And why didn't coleman add a screen to the front entrance? Here in the states, mosquitos and bugs can be pesky while camping. Maybe it's colder in the UK so bugs aren't an issue.. No way would I leave the front entry door up (poles not included) or open and invite every insect in. But if it had a screen, id buy the poles to lift the window/door panel. It would also help with air circulation. The side entry door is great and has a screen to help with air circulation. But it's the only large opening to help vent the tent. The opposite side is just a panel. Why isn't there a window with a screen? The lack of screens is why I couldn't give it 5 stars. I've made too much about screens and vents. A tent is just for sleeping, isn't it? And maybe provide shelter shelter should it rain which this tent is perfect for. It's a very practicle tent. The tunnel style along with its features make this tent super cool!! It did cost 60 pounds to ship but it's well worth it. I would pay it again. It's that good and worth buying!! [...]

It leaks...
I've had it with Coleman. I had a Rocky Mountain 5+ for just under a year and it failed twice in one trip. Tent poles snapped, then the webbed fastenings ripped through. Beyond the return date for Amazon and Coleman say contact your supplier. So no help at all. I stupidly bought the Galileo 4 as a replacement and first outing it has shown just how poor Coleman's quality is. Four hours of moderate rain and I woke up to a puddle in the tent. The seem or zip stitching above the side entrance is letting water in... This is going straight back to Amazon when I get home and I will not be buying from Coleman again...

Far from a waterproof tent
My wife and I bought the 4 person tent for our camping adventure through canada. We used the tent around 40 days out of the 90 days we were in country. It rained approximately 10 times within those 40 days. By the 5th rain day the tent was leaking from all side, it really ruined our trip. When I say leaking, it wasn’t minor, it was everywhere. The worst part was the flooring, the water camp up from the floor area in any location where we had placed items and was weighing on the ground. All our bags just became soaked. The seams on the Walls all leaked and in morning you couldn’t touch the roof or the walls as it was just extremely wet, especially in the main seating are compartment. I would not recommend this tent to anyone it’s a complete waste of money. We are trying to bring it into a professional to have the whole thing waterproofed again with a few layers of possible. Let’s see what happens.

Good, but not perfect.
It's a good tent, but it has its flaws. Firstly, it's a doddle to set up. Three poles, peg it out, then the guys. Easy. It's roomy too, and high enough if you're 5'8" or less. It well-made too.Bad points. The front door with the clear panel is impossible to get taut. The inner panel droops inwards by quite a bit and takes up room. But it also lets rain and/or condensation gather and run down to gather on the groundsheet. After some rain we had a puddle on the floor and some kit got wet, not good. Also the roof in the porch area let in water - it gathered on the inner and dripped down and again some kit got wet. Not good enough, really. The guy ropes were not fully attached, meaning we had to tie all 10 of them properly before we could secure them. It's also not as big as you'd imagine. There were two of us over four days and we left the bedroom divider out and with a double air bed there was plenty of room in the bedroom. But the porch area wasn't as big as I'd expected and even with only four days kit it was a bit cramped for two people. Given the chance again I'd go for the Galileo 5.The water ingress issue may be a warranty issue, so I'll be returning it for replacement. The design issues can't be so easily dealt with.Overall it's a good tent but it has issues. I don't expect a £200 tent to leak, simple.

Fantastic tent!
Really easy to put up. Very well made and strong with loads of room in it.I upgraded from a 4 person dome tent and it's so much nicer being able to stand up inside and have a decent size living area as well as 2 double bedrooms.I would highly recommend this tent unless you are looking for one of those ridiculous huge tents that take up half a dozen pitches.
