They clearly stick onto both the bottom of my shoe and onto a shoe insert/orthotic. This latter is a great feature since most earthings shoes don't have a way to use them with inserts and any serious runner often uses them.The problem is that as best I can tell there is only a small (1-2mm wide and perhaps 1-2cm long ) short strip on both contact surfaces that is actually conductive. Worse, when I measure between these two I get greater than 2M Ohms of resistance suggesting that if they work, they are NOT very conductive at all. Many earthing products have resistance in the 100K Ohms range or less.So after I went running for about 15 miles the product is still there, but the part on the bottom of the shoe is VERY chewed up and the conductive part is gone (unless the remaining strip has some low conductivity). So I don't really think they are working anymore and can't be sure.I think they need to offer better guidance or instructions.

I was very excited about being able to ground my running shoes. I got the straps and then got my shoes. My shoes had to be exchanged because they didn’t fit well. Once I decided that the next shoes I hot were the right ones, I follow the instructions to install them on my running shoes. They lasted two four mile runs. The part that goes on the bottom of the shoe was eaten up by the pretty smooth trail I run on! By the time I got in the runs to try my running shoes and the runs for the straps, it was too late to get my refund, by two days. Very disappointed!
