If I understand your question, then the answer is, no, there is no lid on the mixing cup, but it is not needed. It mixes without a mess.

Who makes a two beater malted milk mixer?

In addition to Hamilton Beach (which is my preferred brand) some other companies make 2 and multi malt mixers. However, all the multi beater mixers I have ever seen are commercial versions, selling for hundreds of $USA, Most restaurant supply dealers sell those. I have never looked for them on Amazon because now that I am retired for my home the HB 727B works very well. Please understand that consumer mixers such as the 727B need the ice cream to be soft. The expensive commercial drink mixers are far more powerful so they can deal with very firm ice cream.
