Denso U-Groove K16R-U Spark Plugs (Pack of 4)

Just installed a set of 6 in my old pickup along with new NGK spark plug wires. Wow what a difference! Better gas mileage and engine response. Denso plugs are the only brand I use, including in my Tundra and the wife’s CRv. Get you some.

Normally will only buy ngk plugs but I couldn't find ngk for our mowers so got these and they worked fine

Ive never witnessed spark plug failure to this degree. This was after 30k miles of use on the vehicle. 2 plugs worn down to a .070 gap, the other 2 plugs worn to a .055 gap. These started at .043 gap. Trash.

My old 95 Corolla runs way better with these OEM plugs. I was advised by a Toyota service manager to install the Denso iridium plugs so I did thinking I would "feel" a huge difference in acceleration and get "way" better gas mileage but I noticed no difference! After 6 months I decided to R&R with the regular plugs and I actually have the improvements that the iridium plugs were supposed to provide at a fraction of the cost. Some might be thinking that the gap was off on the iridium plugs but they were right on. Sometimes it's best to stay with the one designed for the engine.

Have driven 5K miles on these replacement OE plugs in first gen Scion xB with no issues. Gaps were fine, did not need to adjust. No need to go platinum/iridium. Swapping these out every 30-50K miles is easy and shouldn't take you more than 20 minutes.
