OK, Firstly on delivery it said item was "Handed" to me, NO it wasn't it was left on the floor. Now the product, I decided to pay the extra money for the smart WiFi option but the WiFi functionality doesn't work because of your Fridge and Microwave also the air fryer doesn't respond to Alexa, so I paid the extra for the smart functions that don't work because other kitchen appliances interfere with the Wi-Fi signal. Now the size, this causes me to be concerned that its genuine. Its advised and the box says its a 5.5qts and classed as xl, now go to the Cosori Web site there isn't a 5.5qts there is only a 3.7qt and a 5.8qt and the 5.8qt is xl.... This model at 5.5qts which don't exist on the Cosori website is NOT xl its just slightly bigger than the small it's like a medium size, I have the Philips 5.8qts xl so I can see the difference. Now I've contacted them here and cosori direct to get answers in relation to trading standards on the size and the smart function not fit for purpose unless your router is placed in the kitchen!

The COSORI Smart WiFi Air Fryer 5.5L is as good as it gets in the air Fryer range. One only has to go onto the foodies page of YouTube to see that people who cook with our cookers are using the COSORI.It comes with a decent recipe book which gives you over a hundred recipes, although you probably aren't buying this because you want to cook a hundred different things, you're probably buying this because you think that it's going to give you healthier chips or healthier meats, truth be told it's a yes and no. Take chips or French fries that what you call them, you chop them up and you put them in the air Fryer following the instructions, you cook it for what you believe to be the right amount of time and then you take it out to inspect, only to find that some of them are cooked more than others, or some sides are cooked more than others. Now I know that it does say that you are to take out after cooking for so long and shake them, but you kind of have to learn what constitutes a shake and how much you have to do it.I've gotta be honest there are some things in this air Fryer which cook extremely well, steaks for example are absolutely bang on perfect and you can cook them exactly how you want them to come out lovely and they taste lovely makes you want to eat steak every night, but not so the fries. I believe that it really comes down to portion size and smaller the portion, the better chance you have of getting a better cooked fries. Subsequently, use it for cooking fries any more, because in my book it's disappointing. And this would have made for a really bad review had it not been for the other stuff that it does extremely well like the steaks that I mentioned.Think long and hard as to whether this is the thing for you, check out the reviews on you tube. You are spending a lot of money on a product that if you're disappointed with, not really gonna be able to send it back so you owe it to yourself to do some research on the item before you buy it.If I had to give this a score and I will I would say 6.5 out of10. It only scores so highly for the few things that it does do well in my opinion.This gets a partial reluctant thumbs up providing of course that you do your homework and find out whether this thing really is for you.

Ok, so we’ve had this six months now, which is a reasonable time to properly test it and my opinion? Mmmmm, let me think…. I LOVE IT!!Honestly, this device is the greatest invention since the microwave. It cooks everything better and when I say everything, I mean everything. For example, chicken pieces cook faster, drain fat to be healthier and yet are juicy and melt in the mouth delicious. Even the boring breast comes out succulent and tasty, so preparing it with a nice marinade adds another dimension. It’s not only chicken though, you can cook any meat and somehow it retains its juicyness and falls apart in your mouth. Chips are a revelation in the air fryer and come out how you’ve always fantasised a chip should be. With zero effort you’ll have a crispy outside and fluffy centre; get adventurous and par boil your chips, then add goose fat before cooking and it’s Jedi level chips. Simply loveleh!You have to retrain yourself with cooking times or you’ll burn things because I t cooks so much faster, but reducing cooking times by about 30% seems to work and things come out perfectly.It’s really easy to clean too. The tray and basket come out together and separate with a click of a button to fill with soapy water and wash. A nice feature.Basically your oven will become redundant and only used for those things too big for the air fryer.The WiFi and App are really easy to set up and are useful if your kitchen is a distance from where you sit and wait for food to be cooked. We didn’t bother using this feature, however the app has some excellent recipes - try the crispy fried chicken, it’s amazing! - and if you don’t find what you want there, Google air fryer recipes and you’ll be amazed how many dedicated sites there are now for cooking with an air fryer.Overall this is a great little machine. I read lots of review prior to purchase and I rarely found a negative one. We wouldn’t be without ours now and you’ll find yourself very quickly dependant on yours. A highly recommended purchase!

I'm extremely disappointed, as after having bought one with their recent £20 offer, I soon had to return it after only two uses!The heating element stopped working completely when trying to turn it on (both via app and manually), left uncooked chicken in for 25 minutes to come back and still find it uncooked with the fan going but no heat.Really disappointed as I'd previously bought a Cosori air fryer. I just wanted a replacement, but apparently they only take returns and do refunds. I may have to look elsewhere now!

Above all the air fryers this is the best one, smart app doesn’t always work, but good value for money, beats the vortex air fryer any day, also the accessories pack is well worth the money spent, great buy would recommend to anyone looking for an air fryer.
