In love with my pillow
For the past couple of years, I've been searching for a pillow that doesn't leave me with a stiff neck or keep me tossing and turning all night. I'd grown used to using 2-3 pillows (something flat, something fluffy, something overly lofty)...shifting them as I tossed and turned from stomach to side to back, flipping them over to the cooler side when things overheated. When I read the reviews of this pillow, I decided to give it a try, and wow! I am so happy. The pillow somehow is fluffy but firm at the same time. Best of all, when I sleep on my stomach, the pillow doesn't rise up to envelop my face (there is some sort of internal structure that keeps the shape out to the edges). I'm not waking up at night because my face is too hot, or because the pillow didn't need to be switched out when I turned to my side.I've used this pillow for one month now, and it is still fresh and holding its shape. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but as something that is going to last a while, that replaces 3 pillows on my bed, and that helps me sleep well without a stiff neck....definitely worth it! As an aside, I was NOT given this pillow for free to write a review -- this is just me, loving a purchased product, planning to buy at least one more (my spouse is getting jealous).

Average Overpriced Flat Pillow - from a pillow expert - Updated
*See update at the bottom of my original review*Original Review:Background: I suffer from migraines, neck pain and back pain. These are chronic conditions. I am an average sized female. I have been searching for the last few years for the "perfect" pillow. I've tried SO MANY PILLOWS. I've spent a ridiculous amount of money searching for the pillow that works to relax my neck because it's supporting my head properly. Honestly, I'm afraid to even know how much money I've spent on pillows over the last few years as my condition has worsened. What I need in a pillow/What I don't want: What I'm looking for is a pillow that supports my head without causing strain to my neck. I'm also looking for a pillow that may be a little firm (for support to avoid neck strain), but not as hard as a brick. I don't want a pillow that loses its shape or that causes me to wake up with neck pain or headaches. I don't want to spend my entire night of sleep flipping a pillow either. I'm not going to be folding a pillow to use it. I don't want to have to use my arm underneath my pillow/head all night because this does cause neck strain. The Spring Bed Pillow: I randomly come across this Spring Bed Pillow a short time ago. I thought "What is this 'spring' pillow thing? I've never heard of THIS. I must try it!" If you suffer with waking daily with neck or head pain, you understand this. If you do not, I'm thankful that you don't understand it. I ordered the pillow. The pillow arrived in a large flat box. This was new to me in all of my pillow purchases. When I opened the box I see the pillow is inside a very nice zippered bag with handles. The pillow was laying flat and not folded in half. "Wow. This may be "the" pillow!" After opening the storage bag the pillow was stuffed inside of I see the pillow is vacuum sealed inside two separate layers of plastic. This is also new - TWO layers of vacuum sealing? "This pillow must REALLY expand!" I finally opened both vacuum sealed bags and removed the pillow. I assumed it must be like other pillows I've purchased and it needed time to expand or sort of inflate to its proper size. I say this because the pillow was rather flat once it was opened. I pressed down on it with my hand to feel if there was "more to come" so to speak. I couldn't tell. So I laid the pillow flat on my bed to let it expand. I went through the box and there were no instructions about allowing the pillow to expand or placing it in the dryer to fluff or even washing/cleaning instructions or recommendations. I looked over every single piece of paper that was inside the nifty carrying/storage bag that the pillow had come inside. There were no instructions of any kind. The only information given was the name of the pillow and what it's made of. That was certainly new to me - no instructions for how to care for the pillow. I just let the pillow lay there for about 6 hours to expand (I mean it's what I expected to happen considering how flat it was). After 6 hours the pillow didn't look or feel any fuller or thicker. I decided NOT to sleep on the pillow that night and left in on top of my washer to let it expand for a full 24 hrs. Nothing changed. I squished, folded, pressed and basically inspected every inch of this "spring pillow". There doesn't seem to be any kind of "spring" anything about it except the name. It looks and feels like any pillow I could purchase at Walmart. I can say this because I've purchased all of those pillows as well.Sleeping with the pillow: After the pillow had sat flat for well over 24 hours I finally put a fresh pillowcase on it and took it to bed to sleep. It was not supportive. It felt flat under my head from the very beginning and that only got worse not better. I tossed and turned for what seemed like forever before I fell asleep. I continued to toss and turn throughout the night trying to make this pillow "work". I didn't feel rested the next morning. My head hurt so much and I did have neck pain immediately when I woke up that morning. I didn't give up on the pillow yet. From experience I've learned you may need several days before a new pillow sort of "breaks in" or you adjust to it. I slept on the pillow for 3 nights in a row. Each night was exactly the same. I suffered with a 3 day migraine during this time. This migraine was the kind that you wake up with, lasts all day and you go to bed with the migraine. You wake up with that same migraine again the next morning... so on and so forth. After the 3rd night and 3rd day with the migraine I gave up on the pillow and used the pillow I was using before. The next morning when I woke up my migraine was gone! The migraine didn't come back that day nor did any other headache occur. The Verdict: I have to say this was a first for me in my pillow purchases and pillow searching experiences - immediate 3 day migraine. I have not used the pillow again. It now resides in that nifty, handy dandy zippered storage bag it arrived in. Now I know why it come with such a neat storage bag. If you're just an average Joe who needs a new pillow, and you don't have specific needs similar to my needs, this pillow can possibly work for you. It's basically going to be exactly what you can find at your local Walmart or other store. Ordering it here can save you a trip to the store. If you have neck problems and need a supportive pillow I doubt this will work for you. You can sure try it, but I cannot recommend it to you for those needs. My Rating: I'm giving this pillow 3 stars. The pillow is well made. It wasn't falling apart or have loose strings hanging. It did come with the nifty storage bag, which will come in handy for storing it now. It was packaged well and arrived quickly (I do have Prime so pretty much everything arrives quickly). Basically, this is an average pillow. Nothing special stood out about it from its design to its ability to give support of any kind. I do feel it's overpriced for what you're getting. I believe it would work fine for a pillow sham. It may be a good pillow to put aside for unexpected overnight visitors. It will be nice and fresh for them if it's kept in its storage bag. If your visitors have problematic head, neck or back issues I wouldn't let them use this pillow unless you really don't like them and would like them to leave quickly. The search for the perfect pillow continues! Until then I will be using the 2 pillows I have that I rotate using. Neither are perfect, but they do seem to help a bit with support to avoid neck straining.Update (January 13, 2017)I was contacted my OXA regarding my review of the Spring Pillow. I didn't expect that nor did I contact them in any way. They had several questions regarding the pillow I received. OXA believes I may have received a defective or damaged pillow because this pillow SHOULD EXPAND UP TO 7 INCHES. Mine is nowhere close to that. The company has offered to send me a replacement pillow or give me a refund. In the spirit of continuing my search for the best pillow for me I chose to try a replacement pillow. The company also stated they are working on a new design for pillows that are specifically designed FOR SUPPORT! They did ask if I would test the upcoming new pillow for them since I'm a pillow expert/professional (HA!). I have agreed to test the next pillow they release. This is new to me. BUT I wanted to update this review so that others can see the company did reach out promptly. They do have a 90 day money back guarantee (I wasn't aware of that). I will update this review once I have received the exact same replacement Spring Pillow that I already have snce they believe my pillow is defective or damaged. This is exceptional customer service I'm my opinion because I didn't email the company or contact customer service with Amazon. Obviously this company is keeping a close eye on these reviews and hope to make their customers happy with a good product. Honestly, I am very impressed that type of ethics in today's retail world.I will update this review and my rating once I've recieved the new replacement pillow!

... I started using this pillow and it has been great so far
It has been a few weeks since I started using this pillow and it has been great so far. I'm a side sleeper and have had problems with neck pain and stiff shoulders when I wake up. After trying a number of different pillows, this one has been the best. It maintains at least 50% of its height at all times and has greatly reduced my neck pain.I have tried "My Pillow" and it works, but after a while you have to fluff it up in the dryer every couple of days. Also, that pillow is hot to sleep on because it is made of foam. The spring pillow is much cooler

Pillow conquers deformed neck - and owner finally get sleep!
I had to write a review for this pillow because I have spine deformities and have gone though over 100 pillows in the last few years looking for one that would fit my needs (which I will describe below) and I have finally found it!!First, I will tell you the reason for 4 stars on a pillow I love. The only reason I was able to try the pillow in the first place is because of the HUGE discount it had for Prime Day. I am on a fixed income from SS Disability and while the pillow was heavily discounted, it still stretched the boundaries of what I could afford. Still, the need for good sleep with less pain is a big deal for me, so I thought it worth the try. I came on here to get another pillow - and leave a 5 star rating - only to find it was so high priced, there's no way I could get one. So the ding of a star is because it's such a phenomenal product for those of us that really NEED it, but only those not on a disability income can afford it. If the company was aware they were freezing out 1/3 - 1/2 of it's base consumers, I wonder if they would make it affordable? So on to the pillow! Having tried so many pillows, I was impressed with the design of the internal springs, which you cannot feel at all. I haven't seen this with a pillow before and it definitely got me interested. Reading though how it works makes it seem like a no-brainer - of course that's how a pillow's supposed to work! - and no one's been able to get it right until now! The pillow is very well made, it will absolutely last a very long time. The pillow does puff up! It claims it puffs up to 7 inches, and while I don't think my pillow has ever puffed up that far, it does puff up quite a bit - AND IT STAYS THERE! That is the key! You can wake up in the middle of the night, and it is smashed down a bit where my head is, but I just fluff it and it's back to the regular height. The head/shoulder ratio is great for those with neck problems and makes lying in bed a pleasure- something I have never experienced with other pillows!I have cervical spondylosis (my vertebrae is strangling my spinal cord), cervical stenosis (my neck has no c-curve to it, it's stick straight and is tilted to the side. Think: leaning tower of Pisa), and bulging discs in my neck and lumbar spine and fibromyalgia for extra comfort.:) All of this is being shared so people reading my review have a good idea that a good night's sleep is hard for me to come by, and that looking for a pillow that has the neck to shoulder ratio and support I need has been impossible - till now. To find a pillow that does that and is so comfortable that I can fall asleep and wake up rested? That is a miracle!!So while I'll never be able to afford a much needed (and wanted!) second pillow, I want to urge all of you sitting on the fence to try this one. A pillow fit is an individual thing, but if you are looking for a great pillow and can afford this one - do yourself a favor and give it a try! You won't be sorry!

Not sure what all the fuss is about. This thing gives me a neck ache. Found its way back into the bag and on the shelf in my closet after a couple of weeks.

Must Try
The only pillow I use, ordering one for my sons place. If I use this pillow my neck is not aching in the morning like with regular pillows. Great!
