Not As Good!!!
This is not the first time that I’ve purchased these and each time we have been disappointed in the texture. My family has always enjoyed the larger MoonPies, but in my opinion the mini ones are just different but not in a good way.

Moon pies of yesteryear are nostalgic.
Gifted in a box with other treats for a very elderly person who I wanted to send snacks to him in West Virginia, so he was pleased to receive them and thank me for them. There were multiple items in his snack box gift box that I sent, but he said they were good. That’s all it was important.

Cheap tasting snack.
The Moon Pies taste cheap! You couldn't pay me to eat it. I usually don't waste food, but I discarded the Moon Pies as they tasted bad. The Moon Pies are a flat piece of marshmallow, sandwiched between to pieces of cake, coated in chocolate. The cake was very dry and crumbly. The marshmallow center did not taste anything like marshmallow and was overly sweet.
