Update: I've changed the rating from 2 stars to 5. The manufacturer has changed the design and asked me to test the new ones. I used them in my travel trailer for several weeks without any issues. They're as bright and warm as the original incandescent bulbs. The light fixtures they're in are very small and sealed tight which probably caused the previous bulbs to overheat. That has now been fixed.This would have been a 5-star review, except that one of the two bulbs I'm using failed after a few days. They're both on the same circuit and switch so it's not a voltage problem.While they're working they are a very close match for the color and brightness of the incandescent bulbs in my travel trailer that I replaced. In the attached photo the LED bulb is on the left and the incandescent on the right. It's slightly whiter, but not enough to notice after replacing both bulbs. I've emailed the manufacturer to see if they can replace the defective one (I no longer have packaging to return the set to Amazon). I'll upgrade the rating if they do.Update: excellent customer service - they sent me a code to order a new pack of four bulbs at no charge to replace the one that had failed. However, I still can't upgrade the rating. After the light has been on for some time the bulb starts flashing like a strobe light. Two of the new bulbs have done this. I suspect the electronics in the base of the bulb are overheating - it gets too hot to touch. I have these in two identical fixtures on the same circuit and switch and the other one has been okay so far.

Recently I got a bunch of these little G4 connector LED's to test which I like the best.This 4 pack is "Warm White" which to anyone else in the world is Yellow. It is the color of traditional old incandescent light bulbs. They were plenty bright and would leave spots in your vision if you look too long at them but they not as blinding as some of the others I tested. There are 51 individual LEDs with 3 on the top giving you a bit of a spot light. There is an acrylic case on the light giving it a little protection but it has holes (heat holes?) so it is not as water proof as the silicone encases lights.Each light came in its own little box wrapped in foam.I don't' know if it was the cheap little G4 connectors I bought, but the contacts did not fully insert into the G4 housing. The laps worked just fine, but that could be important to you.For my testing purposes I did not actually use a 12 Volt DC power source as you should with these lamps, I used 8 AA batteries in serial with a little switch and a generic ceramic G4 socket. You may get slightly brighter results with a proper 12 Volt power source.I received this product at a discount for my unbiased and honest review.

These bulbs are not warm white, my guess is they operate around 2900k, and they do not put out the equivalent light of the 20w halogen peanut bulbs they replaced in outdoor landscape lights. When will Amazon stop inaccurate listings from being posted and misleading products from being sold?

These bulbs are pretty high quality material and I love how they do no use too much power and also do not waste too much energy as heat .I plan to use these bulbs for my camping trips, it offers warm white light which is a lot more yellower than I thought it will be but I guess warm white does not attract too many insects as does the cool white light so that is a plus. I have used 3000k bulbs before and I know they have a nice shade of green in them too but these bulbs are more to the yellow spectrum. I use these bulbs with my 18000mhA LiPo battery and in 4 hours of use they dropped the voltage from 16 volts to 12 volts which is a great thing because I had all four bulbs connected in a parallel circuit and all running at the same time. So now I just have to figure out how to lay my circuit and which bulb holders to use and it will be all golden. Camping for days here I come ... again :) I would surely recommend buying these bulbs if you need them for your small projects and such, they will come pretty handy.

These are perfect. the light up brightly and they come packaged in a way were they will always arrive in good condition. They are long lasting bright lights that will help lower your electric bill. just make sure you get the right one for your appliance/ light. I am really glad I got these. you won't be disappointed. LED is definitely the way to go. there is no sense in not using LEDs unless you enjoy spending more money. it was nicely packaged. I received this product at a discounted rate for my honest opinion / review. I did have to purchase this product. I would not purchase or review anything that I did not want or need. That being said, I would only give an honest review. I do not gain any benefits for reviewing a product more positively. I try my best to see if there are any flaws with the product and I only review once i have used it
