Two piece bulb
The bulbs, model #9006, are made in two pieces that have a slight flexibility when installed. I asked the Cougar Motor rep about the movement and the effect upon its lifespan. The response was quick and to my satisfaction. The bulbs do not wobble or show such movement when I drive the car. They do move , very slightly, when I force them to do so with my hand and lifespan is not an issue.I have a 16 year old Honda Accord, I bought it new, and have changed the halogen bulbs three times. The long life of an LED bulb that could save me from looking like a pretzel to do the remove and replace chore for the next 16 years was very attractive.I turned on the halogen headlights in the garage, marked the beam pattern on the wall, installed the LED bulbs, and the beam pattern was confirmed to be in the same spot as the halogens. Next test was the drive. The low beam LED bulbs are as bright as when using the high beam halogen and best of all, no one flashed their lights at me as I drove on well lit or not lit highways.

Bright! white! nighttime goodness
Pros:- bright!!- white!!- easy to installCons:- the swiveling of the ~bulb~ in the base made it a bit confusing for me to decide in what orientation the bulb/LEDs should sit with respect to the base/headlight assy, so as to optimize function of the headlight. I made a guess about orientation (side-to-side LED orientation vs up-and-down LED orientation) and they seem to be working fine.- My attempts to adjust the bulb angle/aim lead to no perceivable changes in light patterns on a wall ~20ft away. After several attempts, I gave up. But, they seem to be working fine: bright without angering oncoming drivers. The adjustment aiming problems could definitely be operator error, since this is the first time I have tried to adjust headlight aim.So far, so good. (after 5 weeks of use)Wow!These are so much whiter & brighter than the $60 xenon bulbs they replaced.I suspect they really are the 7200 lumens (3600lm/lamp) they claim to be ( I was suspicious of this claim when I bought them). They are amazingly brighter than the halogen & xenon bulbs I used previously. They were so bright that first night, that I expected oncoming drivers to start flashing their brights at me. So far, no one has.I can see much better at night now (great for my aging eyes); but apparently the brightness is not angering other drivers (which I am a bit surprised by, actually, as bright as these babies are). These are definitely physically longer than the stock bulbs; but fit perfectly fine in my Scion.I was so pleased with them, that I bought a pair for a friend that lives out in the country (dark roads, critters, aging eyes).Even if they only last a year (hopefully they last many years), they will be a much better bargain than the last 2 sets of xenons which only lasted a year @ $60/set.

Awesome lights for Rav4
Installed these for 2010 Toyota Rav4 and they look incredible! It was like channeling the sun through my headlights at night. I did have to adjust my headlights down to keep from blinding other drivers, but the lights themselves look great. While driving, I can't hear the fans going at all even though they are huge fans. With other LED headlights I've used, the fan housing seemed crap with restrictions in air flow to vent the heat, these had a huge opening in the back for the fan to circulate the air so I'm not worried about these lights at all.Installation took literally 5 minutes, they fit easily and feel snug and tight. Awesome lights and well worth it.

2002 Mazda Miata LED low beams in projector housing
*WARNING*: Please only install these lamps if you have Projector headlight housings. These lamps are far too bright for reflective housings. A ton of reviews have people installing these in reflective housings. You will blind everyone around you. I honestly wish they would start doing fix it tickets for that nonsense.Hmph. That being said, I am a big fan of HID/LED lighting, and up until this point I have always been an HID fan. I go through cars somewhat quickly, so about every 3 years I'll have a new car with a different halogen headlight. Luckily every car I've owned since 2005 have had projector housings, so the switch to HID was pretty easy.I've never had a problem with Morimoto Elite HID systems from TRS, however I never look forward to installing the set: Big wiring harnesses, relays, ballasts, etc. I've always liked a "clean" install, which usually involves removing the front bumper and/or going through the front wheel well to find a good hidden place to install. There are so many pieces to the set that if you don't take this route it really clutters up your engine bay. That being said, LED technology has been getting better and better to the point where I'm taking the plunge. I'm glad I did this time. The ballasts on these things are so small that it is crazy easy to find a spot to hide them near the headlights.I would say light output on the bulbs is somewhat close to true HIDs. About 4/5 about what you would get from the morimoto elites at the same temperature range, which is a drastic improvement over stock and you'll save over $100 and 3-4 hours of install time (if you do it right) versus a similar HID set.My only gripe for these are going to be how long they last. Other users have mentioned that they don't last long and cougar doesn't make good on their 3 year warranty. This is yet to be seen for me, but let me tell you until they prove me wrong I am putting these on all my vehicles. Hopefully they last, and if they don't hopefully Cougar makes good on their 3 year warranty.
