part of this product failed on first use
These fin straps appeared to be the same ones on the Omega Amphibian fins I own. I needed replacement straps so purchased these. On the first use, as I was getting the fins on and tightening the rubber, the plastic bar inside the ratchet mechanism came free from the housing. The water was slightly muddy and I could not locate this plastic bar. This had never happened with the ratchet mechanism on my fins before. Photos show missing (plastic bar pulled free from housing and my other strap where this did not occur. I think this is a faulty product. Caveat emptor!
