Come mi aspettavo ho potuto viaggiare nella visione statunitense della cucina che potrebbe non essere apprezzata da chi poco tollera le trasformazioni che la cucina italiana ha subito oltre oceano. Da parte mia amo le contaminazioni e la storia che testimoniano per cui il libro mi ha fornito ottime idee per veloci cene tex-mex ed altro. ATTENZIONE ⚠️ I metodi di misura sono quelli americani per cui armatevi di cups e teaspoon. Alcune ricette prevedono l uso di preparati pressoché introvabili nel mio paese ma sono poche e si possono facilmente sostituire con molte altre ricette presenti più facili e sane.

This is a good all round cook book with lots of great tips and suggestions.
An earlier version of this book was given to us when we married 60 years ago. We used it until it fell apart and then replaced it with a newer version. This one will be given to our grandson and his bride to be on their wedding in October.

Sono abbonata alla versione digitale della rivista better home and gardens e ho voluto regalarmi l annuario delle ricette della stessa. Come mi aspettavo ho potuto viaggiare nella visione statunitense della cucina che potrebbe non essere apprezzata da chi poco tollera le trasformazioni che la cucina italiana ha subito oltre oceano. Da parte mia amo le contaminazioni e la storia che testimoniano per cui il libro mi ha fornito ottime idee per veloci cene tex-mex ed altro. Exactly what I was looking for
For a used book it was in perfect condition. It’s exactly as it was described and exactly what I wanted. Lots of recipes and cooking tips.

The only cookbook you will ever need.
This is my go-to cookbook for everyday cooking. It has all the recipes I need in one place. I also love the tips on spicing up the classics. You can find a lot of recipes online nowadays, but it is very hard to judge their merit apart from doing the actual cooking yourself. With this book I know that all the recipes have been meticulously vetted and tested. My mother-in-law saw this book on my shelf the other day, and won't put it down. I got her a copy too. I think that won me some points with her :)
