Roller Derby Girls Sparkle Lighted Wheel Roller Skate

These skates are fine for an inexpensive starter set, but they do have a few issues. First, the wheels are nearly impossible to effectively tighten. It seems to be an all or nothing thing with them, either not tightened, or so tight you can walk in them like shoes. Also, after only a couple of light uses, most of the wheels no longer light up. That was a big selling point for a little girl excited to get her own pair of skates, and now they don't work.For the price, they do the job, but I am not overly satisfied.

Perfect. Box was damaged and wet but the shoes were fine and in a plastic bag. My 5 year old loves them. She had a lot of growing to do. She is a size 10 shoe and I bought size 1 but the ankle cinches tight enough that she is snug in them.

My daughter loved the look of these. They fit her great. Then we took her skating. She complained of a hard wire rubbing the inside of her right foot after about an hour of wear. I could feel the area with my finger and tried to smooth it out and hoped she would be able to break them in. She wore them for a second session of skating a couple weeks later and again had a lot of pain from that right skate. I have no problem toughening up my kid for things that aren't quite perfect but this caused a blister and a very sad kid. She can't wear them again. You can see the area on the inside of the skate in the photo. The left skate is fine. I am guessing we got a defective pair. Too late to return it. These are cheap and plastic - we got what we paid for. If you want your kid to learn that skating is painful, then get these skates. We wasted our $.

I got these for my daughters 10th birthday. She's not a good skater but really wants to be great! I think this is a great beginning skate. We've had them for a couple months now & the wheels still light up. They seem very sturdy & good quality!!

These.are.AWESOME. I was hesitant after reading reviews but took the chance and SO happy I did! So many reviews said the inside wheels are “broken and don’t light up” well, it says that right on the box! The inside lights don’t need to light up. The outide lights are so cool. My kids love these skates. They are well-made and great quality. I would definitely recommend for a fun hobby at home, outside or in the rink!

These skates are really cute!! My 8 yr old daughter got them for Christmas and has worn them to the skate rink 3x already. Just the savings on skate rental totaly worth it. The lights r only on the outside wheels, but when skating all you see is the lights.

Giving a 4 star review because shipping was very quick. Without quick shipping, I would of gave 3 stars. The wheels are very stiff. My daughter said these roll worse than rental skates. So I ordered new bearings (roller bones) but they are too big for the shaft (these skate’s shaft are 6mm). So I had to order spacers too. Out the box these skates need another $30 in replacement parts to be enjoyable. Are replacing bearings and spacers my daughter loves the skates.

Disappointed. Lights only work when wheels are over tighten and don't turn. Had to spend $16 on tool to adjust and now the lights don't work. Then spend another $25 on pads. Already had helmet. Then add in disappointment from the child. Doesn't seem like a very good deal anymore. Skate seems more suited for indoors. Live in the northeast. 80 degree day and daughter asked to take them off after 10 minutes because it felt like they were burning her feet.

My daughter really likes them. They have held up well for the couple of months we’ve had them. They fit well and roll well.
