Stable, stationary and Sturdy
I have really come to love this stand. We used it to replace YET another broken stand on our 55" spectre Flat screen TV. It is surprisingly stable and can also be used to create space under TV for sound bar, blue ray, DVR etc. We have an old house from the 1920's so things like space and electrical outlets are at a premium and usually not in ideal places for modern living. I recommend this stand wholeheartedly. If you buy a Spectre TV, just go ahead and order one of these NOW and save yourself from being woken up at 2 am when the neck of the plastic stand it comes with snaps at the stress point and your TV comes crashing down (happened to us 2x, shame on us for buying the same poorly designed plastic piece again). I know it looks odd and wobbly but it is not. Not at all. Our now 11 yr old does her "hip hop" dance routines in the living room now and I swear to you the TV is more stable than it has ever been. My only caveat is that if you have a large TV you may need 2 people maybe three if you need to figure out how high to set it ( you have a choice of slots to make the TV higher or lower on the legs). It DOES NOT allow for any swivel or sliding, which in our small living room (once again old house) doesn't make a difference, but if your application is for a larger room or monitor that needs to swivel this is not it. It is an excellent, sturdy, stationary TV stand. Worth every penny.

Very Cool...works well
This is a nice little stand. I recently moved to my cousins and their TV was wall mounted. We needed to move it and they couldn't find the base that came with the TV. This is a nice option that uses the wall mount locations on the back of the TV. Not sure why people gave this poor reviews. The TV we used this on has a Vesa 400 mounting pattern and it worked perfectly. Nice option is being able to adjust the height so you can set it really low or adjust up a bit to allow something like a blu-ray player, cable box or center channel speaker to sit underneath it. Very stable. Just finger tighten/snug up all the screws, stand it up to allow the weight of the TV to let everything settle and then torque everything down.Regarding the "instructions"...it's just a pictorial and they are sufficient to show what location and direction things go. Again, not sure why people gave this stand negative reviews. It does what it's supposed to do and it does it well in my opinion. They give you a few different sizes of screws and spacers to make an effort to fit your requirements. If they don't happen to work out for you just go to the hardware store and get what you need. This is a good stand and I'm happy with it.

Very Happy With This Stand!
It would seem as though TV Manufacturers are cheaping out on their stands, I assume they figure most people wall mount these days. I recently bought a 55" TV and the feet (stand) for it where at the very edge of the TV, extending out past my entertainment center. So I bought swiveling stand that mounts to the VESA mounts in back and the TV leaned forward. I didn't really need the swivel function and I for sure didn't need a tilted TV. So I started searching for other options and came across this FITUEYES stand. My first impression upon seeing pictures was that it looked kind of on the cheap side. I assembled it (it also attaches to the VESA mounts) as soon as it arrived and let me tell you, it does not look cheap in person. It actually has a modern look to it and it is much more heavy duty than I imagined. If you're on the fence about this stand and you don't need a swivel stand, I highly recommend this one. It exceeded my expectations! Do take note, there are two different versions of this stand. The smaller one for smaller TV's, and the larger one for...you guessed it...larger TV's.

Easy to mount (that’s what she said)
Guy I work with wall mounted his TV. I guess in the divorce, she got the wall and he got the TV. Apparently, she got the stand too. And the remote. And the car. And half of his 401k. And pretty much everything else. So needless to say, he had no way to stand up the TV in his new shack. So he says,”Matt, I really need a stand for my TV. It’s all I have left.”So, as you can imagine, I wanted to get this figured out as cheaply as possible. The phrase “I’ll pay you back...” is about as realistic as my chances with Kate Upton. (Note: If you’re reading this Kate, call me!)Anyway. I have experience dealing with TVs and mounting them (insert giggle). That being said, these were pretty straight forward and easy to attach to the TV. He had a big ol Vizio (undoubtedly, something he couldn’t afford at the time) and the legs worked perfect using the holes used for wall mounts.Price was right. Especially for him, given as how I’m still awaiting payment (don’t worry, I’m not holding my breath). The real winner in all of this; the lawyers.

I mean... it does the Trick
I needed to lift my TV a little higher than what the standard legs included with the unit would allow for. The stand was successful in accomplishing this but unfortunately appears rather flimsy and ugly-looking.

Stable base
We got this for an older model TV that was wall mounted. We needed to move it to another room but didn't have a base mount. This was super easy to assemble and is very stable. We have it on a TV that is on the high end of the scale of comparability. There are two reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. One is that I followed the instructions to mount tilting forward but it actually was tilted back. I even double checked that I read and followed the directions correctly when I noticed it was wrong. Secondly this came with some various screws to mount the TV but it didn't have one that fit the TV I had. I needed to raid the screw package from another universal mount.

Best Alternate TV Stand Solution!
PROS: pro build, sturdy, semi-adjustable, slim profile, great package of boltsCONS: NoneI bought a new 4K TV, but when I assembled it I noticed that the included stand was much wider than my existing TV stand. I wasn't going to buy a new stand, so I did some research on Amazon and found this alternative. It arrived ahead of schedule and came in a super rugged box (no styrofoam either - great to be greener). The very first thing I noticed was the weight - considering it was designed for TV's 55" and larger, I was expecting something well built, but this stand exceeded my expectations! The finish was great as well (I read some other reviews stating that the finish was easily chipped or scratched, but I did not experience that with my purchase). I had an easy time assembling the two legs and wanted to bolt it to my TV... where I came to a (slight) halt. I had mentioned that this kit came with a plethora of bolts, washers and spacers. Let's be real: VESA is only consistent in the spacing, but bolt depth really varies between manufacturer. I ended up buying a pack of washers with tighter tolerances and stacked them accordingly. Great effort from FITUEYES for providing a bunch of bolts, but please don't get bent out of shape if none of them fit your TV perfectly. Some tips: 1) mount the legs as close to the TV as possible by using all of the necessary spacers/washers on the outside and 2) cut down the bolts so that you minimize the number of spacers/washers necessary - this may take some measuring and a hacksaw, but is well worth your time invested.I mentioned that there is some adjustability built in: you can adjust the height of the legs and you can even apply some degree of tilt - though depending on the size of your TV I would refrain from doing this with legs. Applying tilt will make your TV top heavy over the balance point, so use precaution before doing so.Overall, these legs are super clean, sturdy and saved me some bucks! I mounted a 65" TV (65 lbs) and the legs are rock solid! No tilt whatsoever side to side, very stable on my TV stand. I would still add an anti-tilt mechanism (cable or strap) just in case, but it's your call. I would highly recommend this stand to anyone looking for an alternate leg configuration.

Does the job, is sturdier than it looks, and a cheap way to raise your TV.
While not the most elegant looking solution, it does the job. The pieces were thicker and heavier than I thought they would be. It's pretty sturdy and I don't have any worries about it collapsing under the weight or tipping over. It's actually more stable than the OEM base that came with my Sony. Installation was pretty simple and it came with spacers which I needed since my TV has a speaker bump on the bottom. I have the one with the splayed legs as I wanted to give it more lateral support (my TV is 55" and has a 300x300 VESA pattern).I initially bought this to fit my center speaker underneath but I have to admit, it did look odd having my TV so high. If you are looking to get this to raise your TV to add a center channel speaker or soundbar underneath between the legs, it gives you about a 47 cm clearance between the legs. If your speaker is wider than that, you'll have to find a way to put your center speaker on top of the legs or in front of them. Again, this is with my specific setup of a 300x300 VESA pattern with the splayed leg version so your own setup may vary.Once installed, the TV sits about half way deep relative to the front-to-back depth of the legs. I wish the TV sat deeper. I doubled the bottom clearance space between the TV and stand I have it on relative to the Sony OEM base and the added breathing room has made my built-in TV speakers sound better.

This thing actually works.
Ok, so I'm a bit suspicious of "good deals" in internet shopping. But I thought "what the heck" -- and that I had nothing to lose given Amazon's return policy. I have an ancient 37in Viewsonic TV with a flat back that weighs about 60 lbs. and I needed a stand and didn't want to pay too much money. I was a bit skeptical about whether the stand would support the weight of the TV. But it's like a rock. NO problems whatsoever. I don't know for certain about the 88lb claim, but 60lbs was no problem. I suspect the 88 is ok, as long as you don't want the TV too high on the stand. The 5 degree incline is static -- you can't tilt it forward or back on the fly. You have to assemble it as tilted back, straight, or forward. Easy to assemble -- take a tiny bit of trial and error, close examination of the instructions, but the stand is as sturdy as advertised. Comes with an impressive array of mounting hardware for your TV. I upgraded the washers just to be on the safe side. Easy to adjust and not intrusive as a design. (My son actually ordered a different product and had to make a separate trip to the hardware store for TV mounting screws.) Would work well with a soundbar I think -- though I don't have one personally. I have never written an internet review before - but this thing surprised me by doing just what it is supposed to do, and at an attractive price. I was expecting a lot less and am very pleasantly surprised. I doubt I could make a stand for the TV any less expensively - which is what I was thinking of doing. If you're wondering -- like I was -- well, you don't need to spend more.

Inexpensive and does the job
I needed a stand to get my Samsung 55" flat panel to rise above my small centre channel. And this option seemed to be an inexpensive solution to do the trick. It is really a shame the Samsung (and probably other manufacturers) don't make adjustable stands to begion with!!!Pros:1. It is really inexpensive2. It is heavy and certainly built well enough to have a TV just sit upon it with no motion3. It came with all the parts one would need4. The metal has a nice black coating and looks like it will not scratch easily5. The setup instructions are good enough to get you started6. It is somewhat adjustable in heightCons:1. It is not the nicest looking stand (but it was only 32 bucks)2. Depending on where your mount holes are in the back of your tv the stand; when mounted the feet coming out the bottom could look odd (mine certainly do as they seem like two duck feet)3. Even though there are a lot of extra parts for mounting, this company can't possibly account for every TV back. In my situation, I had to cut one of the plastic spacers in half to properly attach it to the TV. (but no big deal)Other thoughts:Would be nice if I could adjust the legs horizonatally for optimal stability and make it look better balanced in the process. In fact I might just make some horizontal bars and do this myself.

Hmmmmmmm.....Strong Enough to Hold My 10 Year Old PLASMA!!!!
This product surprised me...though I wonder how long it will last and whether or not my 50 inch Panasonic Plasma (that really does weight quite a bit relative to today's OLED models) will end up on the floor. Purchased these stands because the TV got punted by my new Sony 65 inch unit but had no place to mount it on the wall. Turfed the original stand (for some unknown reason) and found these. Went together quickly, attached to the TV easily and seems to be rather sturdy (even though they would appear flimsy). Should my Plasma come tumbling down I'll update this review but so far, so good.
