Use it for military sling
I honestly love this thing. but there is a catch and a reason im switching off it.The issue is that the detach clips that u need to move to separate the pieces are far to small. I have considered drilling into them and making custom extensions so that my gloved fingers can get this off easily but its not worth it. im switching over to similar products.But, some may call the fact that u cant undo it easy as a bonus and desirable. personally i dont think it is since accidently actuating both catch clips is very unlikely anyways.but ya its strong and can hold anything around your body weight easily

I have several of these. I use them to replace buckles on really important things. this 1" buckle was added to a fanny pack that holds critical personal items at music festivals. it wont break and it's hard for most people to even know who to open it and try to steal you bag. but I mainly use a 1.5" buckle (5k lbs rating) on a rigger's belt as my everyday belt. This things get "stronger" under stress and can't release without breaking because the hinges are inverted and get tighter as you pull. your belt will be the first thing to break, not this buckle. The operation of the release is very easy to do. it's surprising that you can have something so strong and resistant to opening, yet grab it with two finger in the right way and it comes off like a breeze. super secure, yet easy to operate...its a dream. Ive been wearing everyday for a few years now and I wont go back to normal buckles every again.

Works as intended
Picked one of these up for my Axl Advanced belt and it does the job.Haven't tried to put a major load on it, just 2 full rifle mags and 2 pistol + loaded P220 and then ran around the backyard trying to induce failure, nothing fell off and nothing came unbuckled.Guess that's a test to the belt/pouches/holster as well as the buckle, but this is for the buckle so...HEY, IT'S GREAT, BUY THIS!...Or something
