Perfect For Our Mini Dachshund's Crate!
Perfect size for my Miniature Dachshund puppy! These "clip" on the bars of his crate and can be easily removed by simply grasping them and lifting upwards. They are small enough for his little frequent puppy meals that he must have multiple times a day at his age and as for water (I bought two!), for now a half a bowel with each meal is more than enough. They are made of a superb quality and are holding up very well to washing. * See Photo: When Theo is NOT being fed or given water I simply place his dishes in the top bars of the outside of his crate until his Feeding Timer goes off, then I serve him his meals and allow him to eat and drink his fill until the Potty Timer goes off then I take him outside to go Potty. When we return inside and it is time for him to return to his kennel I simply again place his dishes on the outside. Another EXCELLENT thing about these dishes is that they hold Theo's new chain leash perfectly! In fact I shall be purchasing more for this reason.

Awesome bowl for your dog's crate!
I purchased two of these ProSelect 8-oz bowls to replace my pyrex measing cup & 20 oz dog food bowl for my yorkies crate. These hanging pet cage bowls take up considerably less space and seem to be made of great quality. I am satisfied with my purchase. Date: 6/11/13 Pet: Yorkie, 11 months old, 8.5 lbs Cage: LxWxH 24x18x18 in Pros: + Quality + Small size + Price Cons: - Not ideal for vertical bar cages. Use paracord, zipties, or rope to resolve this - Some people will complain that the bowl is easily displaced. That is entirely upon your dog's behavior & not the product IMO.

Simple and basic feeding bowl
The size is nice because it's one cup so I can eyeball the amount of food I give my dog. I have a wire crate that this hangs on and it fits nicely. The biggest problem is that it falls off when my dog eats. When he is licking the bottom to get the last bits of food, or maybe he is just very excited about dinner that day and is eating with enthusiasm, he very easily knocks both the bowl and the hanger off the side of the crate. If he does this while there is food in it, then the food will fall out and make a mess. I ended up using a tie to secure the hanger to the crate so that part never gets removed, and just take the bowl in and out and this has resolved the issue. The crate is large enough that leaving the hanger in doesn't get in his way of sleeping, but I'd prefer if I didn't have to permanently attach it to the side. It would be nice if the hanger could be designed so that it wraps around the bar a bit or is secured better than just hanging loosely off the wire.

Works but I wish it would fit more securely on the crate....
I bought two of these bowls for my puppy's kenneI. I like that these bowls are stainless steel and not cheap plastic. These bowls are very easy to remove from the hooks, which is convenient for refilling and cleaning. This is a great way to keep my puppy's food and water sanitary and off of the floor in case of any puppy accidents since she is still in training. However I have found the bowls on the floor of the crate a couple of times. I guess she has accidentally knocked them down when she gets excited. Which is very easy to do since the hooks hang on the crate very loosely. Wish they would make the hooks fit on the crate more securely. Overall great quality and perfect size of my dog. Would purchase again.

Must have for any crated small animal
Great value. Somewhat thinner metal than other brands. Holds 1-2 cup water easily . 1/2 cup food easily. Easy removal, they tip over easy if knocked by kitty. Handles aren’t snug on crate. Easy cleaning.

Weird, cheap, chinese crap.
I bought 2 of these, one of them actually cracked. I had just washed them and sat them on a towel to dry, then turned to make my pets food and heard a snapping sound. I looked over and one of the bowls had split right down the side. My first thought was "can hot water do that?", but I had washed the bowls by hand and know the water wasn't hot enough to burn. I just couldn't forgive myself if I let my pets use these and they got sick because the bowls leech toxins or something. They weren't worth it to bother returning, I'm pretty sure I waited a good while for them to come from China too so a refund would have taken forever. I'm sure the seer would have given me no issues had I asked for one, but I thought it more important to warm others of a possibly dangerous product.

Overpriced and not a 5" bowl
Description is wrong, this is not a 5 inch bowl. And metal is thin, nothing to write home about. And priced at just under $12 is overpriced for what it is.

Great quality but of course my ferret pushes it around and knocks it off. But that was expected, still using it for her and easy to clean !

Works great in my cockatiel cage. Good product. Easy to refill. Easy to clean. Birds don't throw it around

I needed a cat water bowl that was easy to clean, and would not get knocked over during the night. This fits the bill. I waited to review it, till after it survived some time as I was skeptical. It has held up well and continues to keep cat hydrated overnights. My cats are finicky, and some vessels they will not eat or drink from, and this has risen to the challenge. So far has not rusted or dented, and has not been knocked off the wall. Good value at this price point and will likely buy another for food!

I bought several of these for a long road trip with my kitties. The idea is good but they didn't stay in place very well and I couldn't put it on the lowest horizontal bar of the crate which would have been the right height for a cat to eat and drink. Good concept but the designers of the product need to make them stay on the cage better at any height.

I'm not too familiar with ounces because here in Canada, we generally use ml or cups. So I ended up with a hampster appropriate bowl for my 40 lb dog haha. Gave it away to a friend with a yorkie. Otherwise, it was fairly well made but because it uses hooks instead of a clamping system, it might be easily jostled and fall off.
