Really amazed on the quality of this set! Really well made with super heavy tapestry-type fabric (like in wall-hanging tapestry). The photo just is nothing like the real look--the close ups of the tapestry pattern is much more accurate with the burgundy and hunter green accents. Weird not to have a bed skirt included but my burgundy skirt from my previous set looks great with it. Not a game changer--but the "king" pillow shams included are at least 6-8 inches shorter than the ones I'm replacing and I had to really struggle to stuff in king size pillows. The square decorative pillows are nice since they are striped on one side with the tapestry design on the other. I would have liked to have a darker backing on the comforter (rather than light ivory/gold backing) but still a great buy.

I bought this comforter set based on the photograph. In the photo, it pictures a bed skirt (which is apparently NOT included). It also pictures several accent pillows; however, it does NOT include accent "pillows". It only includes the EMPTY covers for those "pillows". Apparently, you must purchase actual PILLOWS separately, as well. What a JOKE!!! What a huge RIP OFF!!! I paid over $200.00 for this mess of a comforter set!!! I would return it immediately if it hadn't already arrived in a beat up, torn up box, and a torn up plastic packaging!!! It's so bulky and unwieldly that it will be IMPOSSIBLE to fit all that mess back in its already-damaged packaging. It's just not worth it. Once again, DO NOT BUY THIS COMFORTER SET......and, I would venture to say, I wouldn't buy ANYTHING ELSE...EVER....from this company!!!!! (To add insult to injury, I wound up just giving it to my downstairs neighbor. WHAT A WASTE OF $200+ HARD-EARNED DOLLARS!!!)

I just received my comforter and I am AMAZED at how wonderful this set is, it is heavy and extremely detailed, I would highly recommend this to anyone, the look is like that of tapestry, the base color is a gold/green that is not captured well in the picture but quite lovely when you wee it in person. I do have one comment, another buyer mentioned the pillows are just covers (just purchase inserts at any fabric store, Walmart even carries some.) but the set does not include a bedskirt and the picture shows one that matches the set, I would love to purchase the one shown, but cant find it anywhere - has anyone found it for sale on Amazon or elsewhere?

This is awesome. Heavy but not hot. Launder well. Colors are somewhat deceiving from the photo. The thread seems to be gold in one light, but if you move a little it'll look green. I added photos. Love it. Thinking of buying another so I have a replacement for when this one wears out. Has a zipper at the bottom to remove the filler. There are ties on the inside in each corner to keep it from moving. Still moves a little though, but not enough to bother me.

I purchased this comforter for my spare bedroom. The comforter is absolutely beautiful! It is also of high quality, unlike many comforters I have purchased in the past. I'm thrilled with this purchase!

Heavy and warm. I don't use the pillowcase from the set. The material is too heavy for the pillows.

I really liked this duvet when I first got it in December but it frayed really bad in a short time. I have never washed it, but it is unraveling at the seems. I will say it is much prettier than the picture, but it is not holding up I've only had it on the bed 2 months I'm disappointed because I love the way it looks.
