I had never had a retractable garden hose before until I once saw my neighbors using a small hose while they were watering their plants, I went up to them and asked about it, and my neighbors raved about the hose in their hands and showed me the amazon link, recommending to me that I must have the GarHose hose. I did not care too much at first, it is cheap so I did not think much before ordering and did not have too much expectation of its function and quality (compared to my $ 200 rubber hose, GarHose garden hose is less than 1/6 of its price) but later this proved to be the best stuff I have purchases so far in this year. I just want to say that this hose has a genius design, it is retractable, and when you open the hose valve it expands immediately. When you don't need it, empty the water and it quickly shrinks to 1/3 of its original size. At that time I just thought "this is great, I can throw away that damn bulky rubber garden hose".What really changed my mind was a few days ago when I was watering the front lawn and the cat snuck out because I forgot to close the door, and I had to leave the hose behind to chase the cat. When I caught the cat I saw my mom coming home and her car ran right over the GarHose hose. At that moment I thought the hose must be completely broken, but it wasn't, I picked it up and tapped it and it was still working, with no leaks. I think the brass connector saved it, the wheels ran right over the brass part, I have no doubt about its durability, I have been using it almost every day, washing the car, watering the grass, brushing the hard carpet, washing the cat potty, everything. I'm really happy with the GarHose hose so far, and I plan to replace the backyard hose with a retractable one as well.

We had a rubber hose before this one and it burst at the nozzle end. We tried this one mainly because it was more affordable than a rubber hose but we were pleasantly surprised! We have a large yard that I needed a long hose, but we don’t have a lot of room to store a huge hose. This is perfect because when it’s not in use, it fits great on the hanger and takes up less space than the shorter rubber hose. Once we take it off the hook and turn it on, it expands and is able to reach to the other side of the house. Once we turn the water off, it starts shrinking and comes back to the starting spot. It’s honestly a lot better than I expected. We haven’t had it more than a few months so I can’t speak for durability. I can imagine that the fabric material may get snagged on the concrete, but nothing too bad has been noticed.

Bought this at the same time as another leading kink free hose...Its been a month... Other brand annoying kinks.. over 20 sometimes twice a day... This Zero.Every time I stop what I am doing to go Pick-Pull- or Kick the twisted/ knotted hose out... I am reminded I spent extra money for this junk instead of getting a 10 dollar hose.Other brand actually cost more than this one and was sold by Walmart.To top it off after only 1 month this one comes off easily from the nozzle. The other one is pretty much completely stuck. Will be taking a pair of pliers to it when I get angry enough to remove it.Really like the spray modes as well. They all work as intended and will get great use around the yard.This is the superior 'kink free' hose, no doubt about it!

I have purchased many hoses through my life, from cheap vinyl to soakers to contractors grade & other brands like this one and can say this hose out performs them all! I wanted to wait several months to see how it would stand up to everyday use. Will not kink up or tangle (unless you really work at it). Once you are done using the hose it collapses to about 1/3 its' size for easy storage or hang up on the included hanger Along with the hose hanger, the sprayer and washes makes this a turnkey purchase. I highly recommend this hose.....in fact I'm going to purchase a 2ndone for my RV.

Okay so I've gone through a lot of hoses lately because this summer, I hooked up two sprinklers in the front yard and one in the back and my idiot husband keeps hitting the hoses with the weed eater. This one has lasted longer than any others. I didn't have high hopes for it because it is *so light* but it's been out there since I bought it a couple months ago and he's definitely mowed the grass at least three times since then and it's still kicking. Other retractable (is that the word) hoses like this that I've bought have had trouble with having good pressure, but the strength in this one is great. I never write reviews but this hose is so good I had to climb out of the woodwork and tell everyone about it. What a weird thing to hype up.

I have used this hose for about about a month now and am very satisfied. The hose comes with a spray nozzle with 10 different setting, washers, plumbers tape and a holder to hang hose from faucet. This hose is so much easier to use then the bulky rubber hose that was very difficult to drag around and then roll up. I bought the 100 ft hose to reach my swimming pool in the backyard. The hose is light weight, sturdy and easy to manuever to my pool area. The multi- settings on the nozzle allow me to clean my filter and pool vac easily on jet and then switch setting to water my plants. When done all I have to do is shut water at faucet off and spray water out of hose and it easily retracts back to smaller manageable size to hang on the included holder.

I love this hose! I am an avid gardener and spend a lot of time outside (in Florida) working in my garden. I have used traditional hoses for years and always wanted this type of hose but couldn't get myself to buy one when my old ones worked fine....well, years later now, I just decided to make the break and reward myself. What a difference! The expandable hose is so lightweight, and the 50 ft length is plenty long to work the entire yard and garden beds. It makes such a difference to not have to drag a heavy, full garden hose around anymore. I definitely recommend this hose and at the low price it is so worth it!!
