one of the cheapest mechanical RGB keyboards
in short : a cheap, well made, USABLE, RGB keyboard with multiple light modes.PRO :1. mechanical keyboard (duh...)2. my version has KAILH Brown switches (no clicky noise, very small activation bump, perfect for me). It is very rare to find Brown switches on budget keyboards, as you usually get Blues (i HATE blues, very noisy)3. sturdy build (i have owned a regular membrane kb and a TVS Gold eBharat, and this keyboard blows them both out of the water. I could hit someone with it and it wont even dent, probably)4. customizable back lit keys. (READ BELOW FOR DETAILS)5. (personal) i got brown switches, and im super satisfied. they make no clicky noise, but still have a very slight bump, so they are perfect for use in office, where blues can irritate your co-workers.6. very short key travel for activation. great for gaming.7. long, braided cable. quite stiff, and is not floppy/bendy.CON :1. entire keyboard looks like section 377 of the indian penal code :P2. cannot set color of lights. they are fixed. you can only turn them on or off. this means that green keys will stay green, they wont turn into yellow or red.3. seriously, THATS IT.4. you are getting a well made RGB keyboard with blue/brown switches for 3000 INR... what are you complaining about? the color? ok fine it looks kinda tacky, but its AMAZING to use.5. some people might not like KAILH browns.Light mode :There are 6 preset light modes, 3 preset alternate modes and 3 customizable modes.preset :1. full light (entire keyboard is lighted, key turns off on press)2. light on keypress (entire keyboard is off, key lights up on press)3. row by row (lights each row 1 by 1 starting at bottom)4. ocean wave (each key turns on and off slowly in a soothing, calming pattern)5. pulse (entire keyboard slowly dims and lights up)6. heartbeat (sends waves of light from the key you press.)7. special preset 1, 2, 3 : lights up different sections of the keyboard. useful while gaming at night.8. custom preset 1, 2, 3 : you can setup exactly which keys will light up. super useful.Out of preset light modes, i tend to use 2 modes the most, "full light" and "light on keypress". three modes are for showing off, "ocean wave", "pulse", and "heartbeat". "heartbeat" is best for showing off, and is the deault mode.It is not useful for working, very distracting.I had my doubts about the KAILH switches, since they are not as highly valued as Cherry MX's, but from the 3 months i've used them, ive not had a single complaint. I do use the keyboard well, and i dont mash the keys (i use mostly touch type, another reason why i bought the browns).im very satisfied.

Good Build, Average lights, first time user
DISCLAIMER: I'm a first time mechanical keyboard user so my views are basically too nascent for a full blown comprehensive review but if you're looking for views by a le man, read ahead. Also, the comparisons made to the Cosmic byte GK-11 keyboard are based on Youtube reviews and comparison videos. I haven't used it, so it's not a first hand user comparison.Okay. So first of all, unplug this from a USB 2.0 connector and put this into a USB 3.0 or higher connector. I almost put in the request to replace the product as the keys were just not registering. Let's get on with the review.Well this is my first day using this keyboard and I've always been a person who cares about making do more than what's the best. Coming from a Rs. 400 membrane keyboard, I bought this keyboard so as to try the whole mechanical gaming keyboard thing and forst impressions are, It's great. I'm writing this review just so I can get to type more on this ;p.About the Keyboard:Pros- 1. Great typing feeel and very low sound.2. Keys are tactile and feel great to use.3. Build quality seems tough and durable, only time will tell how long it lasts.4. Anti-ghosting works well.5. Kaihl brown switches have better reputation and sound as compared to JAIXIN swithces in the CB-GK-11, so that's better in this keyboard.Cons- 1. The keys are barely visible under direct white light as my setup has. There is a tube light and LED on the wall behind and above my desk, respectively and once on, without the keyboard lights on, it's tough to read the keys, as you can see in the picture due to the shiny plastic on the keys and would be much worse for colour blind people.2. LED modes are limited, 2 of them irritating, obnoxious and tacky AF. maybe if i make a youtube video on it, then I'll use them. LEDs are not as bright as the cosmic byte gk-11 keyboard and this has much less customisable options.3. The keyboard text and labeliing are honetly too "gamer" or more like weird and hence, could get difficult to comprehend for new and not so avid typers. Cosmic byte GK-11 has much better font and labelling and it was one of the biggest reasons i was considering that over this.Neither Pro not Con: The keyboard scrapes scarily bad with the wooden surface below, and hence I've put a newspaper under it so that there isn't much long term issues. The other keyboards were lighter that I've used were lighter than this so maybe that could be one reason why I never faced such a problem before. Conclusion: If you want a keyboard with a better typing experience and swithces from a bigger and older brand (both of which are chinese), go for this Redgear Keyboard and if you want a keyboard with a better RGB experience and aren't very familiar with keys or want a more readable and easier to comprehend font, go for the Cosmic Byte Keyboard.

Nice Mechanical Keyboard
This mechanical keyboard is great in build quality as well as in its use.1. Keys are great, great for gaming.2. Kailh brown-Blue switches3. Sound is great :) while typing4. Comfortable while typing, not that hard like other keyboards, 5. but still a littlebit hard when you will go for switches like the blue switches.6. No software optimization for this keyboard7. There are few (<10) in built profiles, no functions for controlling Volume levels.8. You can take screenshow using Fn + Print screen, mostly doesn't works on windows laptop keyboard, they have to use snipping tool to get a screen capture.9. No pad for, resting hands.10. Slight portable, depends on bag size, medium school bag size won't fit easily.11. It though has a lot weight when compared to other keyboards.12. Custom profiles can be created by recording the keystrokes, check on YouTube for more.13. I would not say best for the price segment but it is reliable purchase, in terms of quality.14. One of the most important of the feature of this keyboard I liked is the ANTI-GHOSTING. Supports ample combination of pressing keys at one time. So great for gamers who play games like Tekken, Street Fighter, etc. Even 2 players can play on the same keyboard, as keys will work definitely without lag.

A Great Keyboard.. But without volume controls!!!..
Received the keyboard on Oct, 1st, 2019. The packaging was gud, the delivery was timely, as expected. The keyboard itself seems to be sturdy in its built, there's a gud amount of heft to itself. I ordered the version with the Brown Switches, and so far the experience has been really satisfying, as this is my first mechanical keyboard. There's RGB lighting as well, it's fixed to certain colors on certain rows, but it's fine with me at-least as I did place much preference to RGB when making my purchase decision. According to me, it's a well rounded keyboard and i hope that it stays the same in the future as well, seeing that I was skeptical while buying this, it being Chinese and all.But there are some things that I really want Redgear to look upon:- First and foremost -- There are no Volume Controls on this keyboard, this in itself was a big turn off for me. I really like my Volume Up/Down and Mute Keys. Something should be done about this. this alone is my biggest gripe with this keyboard. This is the reason that I have knocked a star off it's rating.- I find the key caps a bit smaller for my liking, but I guess I will get habitual to the size, so not really a big concern. But still, I would have liked the key cap size to be a little bigger.- There are only 3 brightness settings for the backlight. I would like for the light to be even dimmer. So they really introduce some more brightness levels. That's it for me. Atleast for now. If I find any anomaly in the future i will update this review. All in all I can confidently recommend this product, except I would like you to know that there are no dedicated volume +/- and Pause key. It might detract some people from buying this product, to others it might not, I will certainly try to find my way around it.Good Luck!!..
