These heel grips work really well for me, and are well worth the price. $5 for two pairs is a great value! I bought them for slip-on sneakers that are half a size too big for me and were slipping off my heel when I walked. With these heel grips, the shoes fit snugly and comfortable to the back of my ankles, and stay put with every step. These grips are moderately thick; I don’t expect they would help with shoes over a half size too big. They are not soft and squishy, but rather firm and rubbery. They are textured to the touch, which helps them grip very well. That said, I do not find them to be abrasive. I have used them with socks and sneakers, and in heels against bare ankles, and they have not caused blisters or any irritation. They simply grip very well. I am surprised by the reviews saying the adhesive is inadequate. I have found them to be extremely sticky—more than adequate to stick to my shoes for a very long time (I have purchased this brand of heel grips in the past, and they stuck to those shoes for literally years). I even stuck them on crooked the first time and had to peel them off and re-stick them, and they were plenty sticky enough for the second application. For the quality and value, I would definitely recommend this product.

I followed the instructions carefully, but it just won't stick to my sneakers, it's best to use it with leather or similar shoe.

I use these to create friction on a shoulder rest to keep it from slipping on my clothing. It's easy to trim and fit perfectly and looks discreet and professional.

Best liner cushions I’ve ever used , will buy it again

The thickness of this liner is decent, definitely thicker than the foot petals. The adhesive is good. Texture is a bit rough, not as smooth as I'd like but I guess that gives a better grip of your heels and I did not experience blisters. My shoes were about half size too big and was slipping while walking. After applied, slippage is gone! Would have give it 5 stars except for the rough texture. But bottom line: it does the job.
