Hoosier Hill Farm White Cheddar Cheese Powder, 2LB (Pack of 1)

Bought primarily for part of breakfast frittata and worked very well, didn't cause any sticking to pan and pleasant taste.

I love this product! It tastes great, is easy to use, has a good nutrition profile, does not require refrigeration, and over many years of purchasing is has consistently high quality. It is also cheaper to buy than most of its competitors. I definitely recommend it.

I usually purchased the yellow cheddar. It’s a good product but decided to try the white cheddar. It doesn’t have food dye in it and that was a plus. I love this white cheddar for adding to various soups and Mac and cheese. It has a great flavor and definitely heads to any dish with less fat. Definitely a win!

Absolutely delicious just order another box before you run out the one you purchased put it on some popcorn absolutely better than most White powder cheese

Overly detailed review below! - I didn't get this for 'cheese' uses (sauces/popcorn), but for seasoning; sprinkle this on apples, eggs, DEFINITELY veggies, chicken, etc! (Semi-Pro Tip: get a shaker to fill with large holes, for easier application). ;)I'm a runner, very health conscious, and eat a lot of steamed vegetables, but I don't like to coat them in the excess calories of butter, but sometimes basic seasoning and salt is a little plain, and things like Kernal Seasons get expensive for the amount, and I'm not a fan of HV Ranch powder (too sour), so I started looking for an alternative to start making my own, more interesting seasoning options, especially with less additives!This white cheddar powder is my first purchase to achieve my seasoning goals, particularly because it was on Subscribe and Save, so I can include it with my other regulars, and I'm definitely not disappointed! (Though the shipment did have a cracked lid, probably from the weight of other subscription items, but the product was still sealed, at least). It honestly surprised me with how flavourful it is. I legitimately did not expect it to be so good!I'm not much for cheese consumption, unless it's really flavorful, and this is pretty great without being overpowering. It can almost stand on its own on veggies, but I do like adding extra salt (I like things very salty). To my senses, the aroma is similar to parmesan, and the flavor is like that of those square sandwich crackers, the club with the cheese filling (the kind that come in the packs of six, like their companion orange crackers that have PB), but that odd description is a POSITIVE thing! It's pretty darn cheesy.I plan to try other Hoosier Hill Farm powders to use plainly and to blend, but so far, this is a great start. It's good mixed with pretty much any herb and seasoning blend I've tried (as long as you consider flavor profile and salt level preferences), it was phenomenal on this morning's eggs, and as stated, it's fantastic on apples (if you like things like fruit in fondue). I'd think it'd be good for chili, rice, pasta, various meats, tacos, casseroles, etc. Or just...use a spoon. Totally normal.

A youtuber was describing some recipes using this dry cheese so I bought some to try for myself. While I like to deny that I am swayed by advertising, I was swayed to try this product. LOL.Flavor is less salty than some yellow dry cheeses I've tried, but not by much.Still, there is a savory flavor.As an appreciative outdoors man, I like to keep dry food products that are light weight to carry and easy to prepare with water AND I like to prepare them myself rather than pre-packaged meals.

Love it!While it's not Smartfood level of tasty, it's not a regret.I'll prly try a diff brand next time for comparison, but it'll take me quite a while to go through this. No regrets, even if it doesn't really taste like white cheddar

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got tired of paying for white cheddar popcorn (that comes in a small bag), as well as the (orange) cheddar pasta. I prefer white cheddar... this container of REAL white cheddar cheese will pay for itself before I use half of it.If I only use it to flavor popcorn, it will pay for itself after 5 servings! I plan on using it on Yakisoba noodles as well... I think white cheddar tastes better than the mild or sharp (orange) cheddar cheese.I'm going to try it with parmesan, to make cheese 'chips' in thr air fryer... as well as sprinking it on cauliflower.

My family was already a big fan of the yellow cheddar cheese by Hoosier Hill Farm (our kids woun't eat pasta without it!),this white cheddar is a nice compliment to the yellow cheddar since it's a softer & more subtle taste,a nice change and option to have when seasoning popcorn, salads, pasta ...Looooove it!
