Our Milk Shampoo is one of our most popular products and originally made for a family member with an itchy scalp. We combine 5 natural cleaners that foam up well, although the foaming action isnt quite as intense as it would be if we used a synthetic detergent like SLS or SLES. But were happy to make this small trade-off to use ingredients that are healthier for us and the environment. Often we hear how lovely our shampoo smells. For this, we sourced use a phthalate-free scent so you can smell great without the scalp sensitivity.MooGoo came to life 15 years ago. You know the story, right Our founder noticed that his mother was using a white paste, intended for cows, to help with her Psoriasis. The cream kept skin on cows udders in good condition for milking. Although it seemed to be working well for his mum, the cream was thick, uncomfortable and hard to apply. Since his mum didnt particularly like being lathered in a sticky cream made for cows, he took on the task of reformulating it and made up a lighter, non-greasy version more suitable for humans. Together they referred to it as MooGoo (goo for the cows) and the name stuck. Since then MooGoo has grown to over 50 products to help with lots of different skin and scalp problems and sold throughout the world. MooGoos ingredient philosophy has always remained the same: To make effective products using healthy ingredients, that we are comfortable using on ourselves and our loved ones. This product is made with healthy and edible ingredients, and is dermatologically tested for it's gentleness. We use non-irritating ingredients in effective amounts to ensure the highest quality product for all ages and skin types, including those dealing with skin troubles and sensitivity.
