SLEEPY - breathe this blend of bergamot, chamomile, and lavender to experience tranquility and restful slumber. I like using this in my bedroom diffuser that has a timer on it, so it shuts off when I am asleep.

I was quite surprised at how much this small bottle costs as I think you can get equivalent, if not better, products at a better value for money. On the other hand, this oil has a very strong scent so this bottle will last a very long time.It has a pleasant smell but I have struggled to get the quantity right: too much in my diffuser and the smell is overpowering and giving me a headache. A bit of trial and error is needed! However, the smell does last quite a while so some people may prefer the stronger scent at the beginning to ensure longevity.I think it has helped with my sleep but I would prefer something cheaper for the long term. It has been a relaxing scent – better than my husband’s smells! – but I wince at the price and how tricky it has been to get the quantity right.

The bottle itself does not list all the ingredients, however on the label there is a reference to the supplier website where you can find out more.This does have a strong smell; the lavender is the main small however when it was on I could smell a woody essence and once I went onto the supplier website I realised it was sandalwood. Whether it is helping towards relaxation and sleep, I am not too sure, but it does fill the room with a strong heady scent and visitors have commented on the lovely aroma in the house.It is a strong essential oil, so only a few drops are needed. I use the 3 drops of essential oil to 100mls of water rule, so as I used 400mls of water added 12 drops, however the fragrance is strong so could easily use fewer drops.This is a lovely essential oil, with a strong aroma, however it is on the higher price point for a small bottle (10mls) of essential oil.

I got the Sleepy oil to try and it’s a very lavender-dominant scent infused with sharp, herbal bergamot and only a vague hint of calming chamomile. I quite like it but I do usually like lavender scents anyway. I can’t say it made me sleepy but aromatherapy is a very individual thing; I found the scent relaxing in any case.Just 1-2 drops added to an electric diffuser works well so I think this is a good quality, concentrated oil. It just feels a little pricey to me for a tiny 10ml bottle of a fragrance blend that is so dominated by lavender.

I got this as I love essential oils and also love to have my room smell lovely and relaxing at night. Disappointingly there is no smell of lavender at all in the bottle I got. It smelled strongly of something else that I can’t put my finger on, and certainly isn’t as relaxing as lavender…however it smells ok, it’s not great but ok.I haven’t noticed it helping me sleep.I don’t think the price of £28.00 is justified for such a small bottle of product. It doesn’t do or have any special qualities so it’s not worth the high price tag.
