WOW, that is Green!!
I loved SO MUCH about this umbrella:The quiet crankThe tilt optionThe no-instructions-needed easy setupThe thickness of the materialThe sturdiness and quality of the poleThe attached velcro closure strapsThe only thing I didn't like was the color.I was expecting a more natural green apple color, hoping to match the cushion I have in the bottom right of my picture. What I got was a garish, neon lime green umbrella. It cast a psychedelic glow underneath, which was actually really cool, BUT... I work outside on a laptop and the bright green glare was just too much. I realized I needed a darker color and wanted something neutral like brown, grey or black. Kitadin only had blue so I had to buy another brand. I don't like the crank as much, it's very loud and seems a bit cheap compared to the Kitadin umbrella. It's a shame they didn't have more colors available, because I really do prefer their brand.

looks very nice, but leaks in mild rain; UPDATE faded and broke in wind
Update Oct 30, 2021: the ribs of the umbrella broke in the wind today. I also noticed recently that the fabric faded in stripes, because I usually leave the umbrella closed. It’s particularly disappointing because the umbrella only sees about 1 hour of sun in the early AM, and then is in the shade for the rest of the day. I’ll still give it 3 stars because I suppose it’s ok for the cheap price; you just have to be a little careful with it.Update May 26, 2021: I finally got to try out the umbrella in the rain. It leaks. Water doesn't pour through all over, but the umbrella does allow some pretty big drips to come through. I couldn't tell if the water was coming through where the metal struts poke at the fabric, or if the water was coming in through the top and running down the ribs to where it eventually would find a drip point where the struts meet the ribs. Regardless, I think there is at least one design flaw: the square metal struts, which are generally a pretty good idea for strength, are quite pokey at the ends. The struts are square at the ends, and the corners of those ends protrude above the ribs, such that they poke the fabric. This doesn't bode well for the future/longevity of my umbrella. Either the ends of the struts need to be rounded off, or they need to be attached at a point that avoids them sticking above the ribs and into the fabric. I realize that written explanation might be confusing, so I'm attaching photos of the issue. It's still a pretty umbrella, though I do wish it were a little longer than 11 ft.Original review: I've only had it for a few days, and haven't needed to open it up other than to check it out, but so far, so good. It looks very nice, seems fairly sturdy, and provides much more coverage than a half-round umbrella of the same length and width. I'm using it on the shady side of my home, so I only need it when I want to BBQ in the rain. I'll let you know how it holds up as time goes by.

Wanted to love this, but had to return
Only put up long enough to check it out, then returned it. And it had already been returned by another customer (it was re-taped, and still had their shipping label on it).PROS: Beautiful heavy canvas-look poly fabric; Perfect color orange I wanted; Easy to crank; Attached velcro tie; A true 10’ diameter.CONS: Sitting under it with the sun out, I seriously needed sunglasses. It gave off an uncomfortably bright orange glow that was cast onto my skin and everything nearby, even into the adjacent room (made me wonder about UV rays coming through also); When fully opened, the holes to insert the pin for added safety were above the rib joint, rendering it unusable; The corner ends of the square ribs were sharp, so would probably tear through the pockets pretty quickly unless caps could be found to fit over ends.

Fades quickly and drastically within 5 weeks.
I purchased this Navy blue umbrella on June 19. Today is July 26 and as you can see from the photos it has completely bleached out to be a light lavender color. I have a very good high quality one next to it which I purchased 3 years ago and is still beautiful. Totally different color after 5 weeks! Return window is closed??? They obviously know that after 5 weeks the color fades drastically. Very disapponted. Should have spent the money on another high quality one like I originally did.

Easy assembly
Umbrella is easy to assemble and does it's job providing shade. Appears sturdy. However, although it says ''dark green', it is not dark green. So for me it doesn't match any of my seat cushions.

Great umbrella for our patio!
This seems to be a great umbrella, and works well! Every store in the area is sold out this time of year, but amazon comes through! I like the fact that this umbrella has the crank, but also has the pin in it too. That way, if the crank ever breaks, we can still push the umbrella up by hand and still use the pin to hold it up!

Not Fade Resistant & Broken Crank
I haven't even had the patio umbrella for 90 days and the color is already fading, but they claim...QUALITY FABRIC - The canopy is made of 100% polyester fabric with fade resistant, can provide 98% UV protection. Top wind vent allows the air to flow better to keep it balanced. Also the crank handle won't lower the umbrella anymore, it will go maybe 1/3 of the way down and then stops. If you keep cranking it "down," it will then start to go back up instead, but then will eventually fall back down to the 1/3 down position. Since it won't close/go down I can't even get it in the trash to throw it away. Contacted the seller, but never heard back from them. I have had to purchase another patio umbrella, but definitely from another manufacturer this time I purchased an extra warranty for 5 years to cover my investment.

Beautiful umbrella...didn't make it through the season!
When we first received our umbrella, we were very happy with it. The color was great, and the quality seemed great as well. It was nice and large and afforded us much shade. We enjoyed it for a couple of months, closing it each evening, and removing it from its perch in advance of windy storms. But alas! I went outside to open it in preparation for dinner this evening when it decided not to open. When I went underneath it to check out the situation, the cord at the top was frayed and no longer connected to the mechanism that was meant to control its opening. I was also unable to lift it manually to use the pin to hold it in place. So....I guess I will embrace the sun this evening!
