Project One Large 13FT Rope Hammock, Quick Dry Rope Hammock with Double Size Solid Wood Spreader Bar Outdoor Patio Yard Poolside Hammock, 2 Person 450 Pound Capacity (Cream)

It’s nice for the money but I don’t think it will last more than a year or two at the most. The rope is supposed to be polyester but it’s obviously a cheap China cotton and will be subject to rot in the elements.

I have had this hammock for about 1 month. It is very comfortable. However, soon after using it on a hammock frame, I noted that a link on one of the supplied chains had opened, as indicated by the red arrow in the photo. The load was nowhere near the 450 lb rated weight (actually much less than half of this). I removed both chains that had been supplied with the hammock and used the chains from my former LL Bean hammock that it was replacing. I notified the manufacturer, Project One, by email ([email protected]). It's been a month and they have not responded. So be very careful! The rings on either end of the hammock are holding up fine so far.

This hammock was bought for a Christmas present for my wife and we are just recently started using it. Our 5 & 7 year old grandsons fall through the this hammock. We have always had a Hatteras or Pawley Island hammocks which we will return to. This hammock is dangerous for children!!!!!!

This hammock arrived on time and included good mounting hardware. We have been using it for about a month in our backyard, sprinkler system and all. The construction seems sturdy and the polyester rope is soft and comfortable. I like the size, my wife and I can both lay in it comfortably. Looking into the evening sky while listening to her favorite tunes is sweet.

Very soft a blend of cotton and polyesters. Packaged nicely with all accompanying hardware enclosed. After my last hammock disaster, I intend to update my review at summers end. “Stay tuned”… but so far, so good.

The wood on one side broke within 8 months and I can’t get anyone to help me with my question about a warranty. It seems that it should have at least a one year warranty but no one will respond with anything more than…. “Its been longer than 39 days so it’s out of our hands” I spent $150 on this believing that the quality would be better than the cheaper ones that I found for sale. I just can’t believe the customer service is so bad. 😡
