So I have a 2021 Subaru Outback Touring model. I searched high and low for something that was solid and fit well. This was one of the best barriers that I have ever seen. Granted it helped that the Outback had some anchor points for it, but it's very well made and fits in the space perfectly. I have two German Shorthaired Pointers < 2 years old, so full of energy at times. They are well contained back there and so much happier than being in dog boxes at this point of their lives. Highly recommend!

The barrier is reasonably well made but barely justifies the price. Assembly is straight forward if you carefully follow the instructions which are actually quite clear. I am withholding a star for the time being because, as others have noted, the supports can interfere with proper retraction of the rear seatbelts. I resolved this by easing off on the screw legs that provide downward pressure to the tie down points. No rattling occurred on a short test drive. If it maintains its current position it will deserve another star. 2020 Subaru Outback Touring XT.

Great product! There are a lot of cheaper options, but I have two large dogs (75lbs and 115lbs) and I just wasn’t willing to risk getting a low quality. I am so happy with my purchase. I was very grateful that I didn’t need any special tools. The instructions weren’t always intuitive or the easiest to follow, but with two active dogs and a toddler playing around me as I put it together operator error cannot be ruled out.

Does not fit 2022 Subaru. Presents seatbelt retraction. Does not reach the side wall.Update 21 Jul// contacted the company, very responsive. The told me the C posts were on the wrong side. I switched them. Still a large gap--still presses on the seatbelt. They offered me a return--i have to pay for the shipping.

Great product, reasonable price, and prompt shipping

This dog barrier is great value for money. It's relatively light (compared with the Subaru cargo barrier which is useless for dogs anyway), very easy to assemble, and can be installed or removed very easily. The only minor gripe I have, which is why I knocked a star off, is that there's a 2 inch gap between the barrier and the seat back, enough for someone to get their nose up there.... The only tricky bit of the install, just like with every other pet barrier, is getting it into position because of the width. I had to lower the seats and work backwards.

Bought this for my new Subaru Outback - 2022 - It pinches the cover for the rear seatbelts, making them hard to pull out and retract. The top post, which should rest against the car, is 3/4inch short an can not be adjusted. I am considering returning this but don't see other promising options.

Fits 2024 subaru outback wilderness perfectly
