Frost King 2 x 36 SB36 Extra Brush Door Sweep, 2in Wide x 36in Long, Silver-Aluminum

Q: How do you stop the brush from sliding out from the plastic when opening/closing doors? Are you supposed to crimp the plastic end?

Mine did that too. Always having to slide it back in. Got frustrated and removed it. I'm thinking now maybe some super glue drizzled in the support track at the end might glue it in place.

Q: On a screened lanai and will this allow the rain to pass through to outside?

I am not sure. It would probably block rain from draining off to the outside, unless the floor was sloped a lot.

Q: The bristles come off this thing quite easily. Has anyone had this installed for a long period of time? How did the bristles hold up after use?

If bristles come off easily, try applying some CA glue to the top edge and spray some activator to quickly cure the glue.

Q: I we trim to 30 inches wide, will the holes line up?

It is very easy to drill new holes wherever you need them, you may be able to trim a bit off of each end and have the holes match up if that would be to your choice.
