I received this couple weeks ago. Just started using today and it smells so good and the taste is so fresh. I don't cook a lot, however I use this on a lot of foods. I will get a jar with a lid and will keep it fresher.

This is the Best Form to Buy Nutmeg
I had never used whole nutmeg before, and I am impressed with the ease of grating it for recipes. It smells and tastes fresh and it looks beautiful when sprinkled on cookies and coffee drinks. I love that you know what you're getting, because you can rarely be sure of the freshness and quality of pre-ground spices. Most spices begin to lose potency when they are ground. I will never buy ground nutmeg again.

Excellent value for whole nutmeg!
One of my local stores carries whole nutmeg and it was VERY pricey and I don't want to buy it already ground. I don't use huge amounts of it so buying it whole allows me to grind it as I need it. This 4 oz bag had over 20 nutmegs in varying sizes, which is more than I'd use in several years so I'm happy to be able to share this with a friend! I got out my trusty rasp to test the product and I'm very happy with the aroma as well as the price--I think it's a very good value!

Good nutmeg and the packaging is good for those not looking for a spice jar.
High quality and I like the packaging. I keep several in a glass jar in my spice drawer for regular use and stash the rest until I need them.
