I have a 2002 John Deere 345. I was a little skeptical about this hood, but gave it a shot. It was very well packaged and took about 15 minutes to replace with only a 10mm socket. Be sure to have all your bolts, grill/headlight assembly, and back protector by your gauges - they are not included. Assembly was very easy and fit was perfect. This is just as ridged as the original hood. No instructions included, but you don't need them. Next step is to get some decals. Would strongly recommend.

WOW!! Perfect fit, perfect color, well made, and significantly cheaper than the alternative I was considering. Honestly I hesitated ordering aftermarket but am very happy with the result; highly recommended! Note that mine did not come with new screws, but I saved and was able to use the screws from my previous hood.

This is far cheaper than a real one from Deere in both quality and price. Fit and finish are both OK. Not amazing and not horrible. It all fits and works for a bunch less than buying one from Deere. That being said it doesn’t fit perfectly. The upper and lower parts don’t quite line up perfectly but plenty well for a tractor. The color is slightly off from what I am told but I don’t see much difference. No hardware at all included but that’s ok. I found you can just buy #14 x 3/4 screws which are what the original seems to have used. I would recommend it and would buy it again.

Made my tractor look like new again! After Frankensteining my old hood back together for years I finely pulled the trigger and bought this one. So glad I did. All of the mounting and hardware fit up perfectly and it was a snap to put on. On my model (GT225) I did have to cut out the inside of my old hood and attach it to the new for the foam filter ring to seat on the top of the engine, but no big deal.

It was easy to install and fits good.

I felt comfortable buying through Amazon, having had bad experiences dealing with Chinese suppliers directly as t , in my experience they are not honest, send you the wrong things, not refund. I have been looking at replacing my damaged Hood but prices were way too high. Now that Amazon is involved what was $600, now $300. This Hood was perfect. an easy swap. Keep all of your attachment bolts as they do not come with the hood. Upper and lower fit together perfectly. Grill bolts up perfectly, hood replaces on the JD 345 easily. I endorse this product

The hood fit as intended on my 1990’s vintage John Deere 345 tractor. I am very satisfied with the product, fit and finish. I do with they also offered the headlamps and grill as included options.

Product fit and was easy to install, if you're handy with a wrench. Discovered I could remove and reapply the decals using a heat gun which softened the adhesive enough for an easier removal (do it slowly) and was sufficiently sticky (with more heat gun) to reapply and remain attached. Previously cowling was cracked on top and sides, held together with tape. Looks like new now and can mow with pride.
