I'm really pleased with this. I use it for guiding circular and jigsaw cutting and will probably give it go for extended routing when given the chance. It is very firm when clamped and is an excellent width for my home woodworking projects.

Ideal for timber boards
Just the job for ripping down large timber boards. Straight edge clamps on and off without any problems.

Could be better
Good idea could be better executed. I bought this to do rip cuts in laminate floor boards, and whilst the tool is overall long enough you can’t fit a standard board between the clamps because of design of the clamping mechanism- it’s takes about 75mm off the maximum useable workpiece length. Shame, could have been a cheap alternative to a rail saw.

Not brill
It's OK but not the best

buy a better one if you can afford it
arrived on time but didn't seem to work. I noticed a spring just floating up and down the main rod that I deduced should have been behind the bottom cover I had to knock the roll pin out of the top lever to get it in place this seemed to do the trick but when I used it the vibration from a jigsaw loosened the clamp off and it started moving so ended up free handing the cut. may try making some wedges to knock in next time to make it more secure see if that works. Not really that impressed with it

Do not waste your money.
This item has only been used a dozen times and has completely lost is clamping efficiency.

Value for money
Ideal at the price for the occasional use.I have successfully used with my circular saw and router, but I am not a full time carpenter or machinist.
