When I originally bought this bumper step/protector I too found the hitch pin holes to be too small. I got them to work, but I had a devil of a time. I contacted the company and they told me they were changing their manufacturing specs to have slightly larger holes. I received the new model today and it's great! The same quality as Weather Tech for a fraction of the price! I highly recommend this product and this company!

not sturdy as a step if you weigh over 200lbs (rated for 300lbs) if your foot is not on the center of step it will twist and the warmer it is the more it will bend, parked in sun for most of day went to tie down some lumber and stepped on the bumper step in the middle and it just folded over , should've spent extra on a metal version .

Very similar to Weathertech but less expensive. The holes for the pin is undersized, if they were going to do that they should at least supply the correct size pin. I’d have to drill these out to fit the same size pin my hitch and receiver take. Rather than doing that, I may just return them (I bought 2, for both my trucks)

I'm impressed with the appearance of the product. For some reason, my new truck is a magnet for people running into me at super low speeds or when parking behind me. Luckily no damage yet so I jumped at this product. It seems to be exactly the same as the pricey one.

This is the lowest price for this item and at this price it is a decent value. It is a high impact plastic. I'm using it on my crosstrek as a bumper guard, I expect if It gets hit with any force it will break. ll support a 200 lb person. UPDATE. I got rear ended at a stoplight snapped right of. I ordered another after the repair and it showed up w a piece broken. Not worth sending back but come on shouldn’t ship broken.
