Q: does the dispenser have to be turned on and off every time?

Dispenser does not have to be opened and closed every time This is an infrared automatic soap dispenser, For first time use, just press and hold the power button "+" for 2 seconds to turn it on. For each subsequent use, you just need to place your hand near the soap liquid outlet of the dispenser ，the infrared automatic soap dispenser will work to dispense the soap liquid. To adjust the volume of the soap liquid, press the "+/-" button to switch between the two settings.

Q: Refilled soap dispenser and now it doesn't work. Only 1 month old. Is there a reset button ? No resolutions offered in owner's manual.

The soap dispenser stopped working, maybe soap is too thick, the soap dispenser would get blocked up . Please check it is get blocked up the tubes . and you can take it apart and clean the tubes and openings, then confirm that it works properly.

Q: Can I use it with hand sanitizer?

YES,It is compatible with such as hand sanitizer and hand soap, If you add a sticky hand sanitizer, the amount of fluid will be less.
