Versatile remote shutter release has a few new tricks
Good remote control for the new Z5 and Z7II camera. You're not going to get a lot of esoteric features, like time lapse, but you will get a 2-piece remote set up that can be used as a wired and wireless release. The wired release, or receiver, can dangle loose on the camera's side, or you can use the camera's hot shoe to hold it. If you want to go wireless, you still need to connect that receiver, but you also have a very light and small transmitter that can fire immediate frames, or after a 2 second delay using a separate button. You can reprogram the receiver to accept unique codes from other transmitter, but I'm not entire sure how that can be helpful in that way. What does make sense is if you have multiple camera setups, purchase several shutter release sets and then reprogram the extra receivers to react to a single transmitter's signal. That way, you can fire several cameras simultaneously. The remote will support continuous shooting and bulb but only if the camera is set up that way beforehand. I've purchased and used other Aodelan releases in the past, with more functionality than this one but also at a higher price. I just got the Z7II, so I have to check but I think that it can do time lapse without an auxiliary release. Check your owner's manual to see what can be done internally. If you need that function, buy Aodelan's other remotes. If you just want to keep it simple, this model fills the bill and saves you money.

Works flawlessly
I'm using this as a remote shutter trigger for a Nikon D850. Easy setup; I just popped into the camera's hot shoe and plugged it into one of my camera ports. As far as I can tell, the estimated range is accurate. And, to my delight, it doesn't require line-of-site in order to transmit a signal. So, your hands can be in a pocket or out of view of the camera, and won't be obvious that the photographer is in the frame and not behind the camera!

Worked out of the box
I just got this remote and it worked right out of the box. I have not taken many pictures with the remote yet. I will basically use it to minimize camera vibration after I have frames, set exposure and focus manually. I will also use it when I want to be in the picture vs. running into position to try to get a picture in 10 seconds.
