Same product as eFoods Direct. Nice packaging. Very low calories per serving. Decent taste. Better than WISE.
I have tried eFoods, WISE, Mountain House, Alpine Aire, Legacy Premium, MREs and now Patriot Pantry. I really wanted to like this. However, right off the bat, I noticed the calorie count per serving was a mere 70 to 130 calories per serving with 4 servings per pouch. That is supposed to be for a family of 4. Unfortunately that means you are getting only 210 to 390 calories per day. Really not enough to survive on. Ok, so if you eat all for servings, that brings it up to 840 to 1560 a day which is passable. The problem is that kills the value of this. The food quality was ok for survival food, however its not like Legacy or Mountain House which you wouldn't mind serving for lunch any day of the week. This is definitely a better choice than WISE or eFoods, but not Legacy or Mountain House. The packaging is very nice and compact. This 72 hour kit in particular, come in 5 pouches contained in a larger pouch. Very Convenient and perfect for a bugout bag. The bad part is, this needs to be fully cooked at simmer for 25 minutes. Others like Mountain House can cook in their own bag in 8-10 minutes.** Update **I compared packages of eFoods Direct and Patriots Pantry. They are identical in all things but the graphics on the packaging and the names of the dishes. All ingredients, calories, servings, etc are the same. eFoods Tortilla Soup is Patriot Pantry's Enchilada Soup and the potato soups are the same. Just an FYI.

Robust flavor
I expected 20 individual packets, but was surprised with only 5. It is set up for a four serving meal or leftovers, which I travel alone or with one other person so I need a smaller helping. The flavor is good and I guess I can always measure it down in parts to cook. I have eaten a lot of the older MRE and c-rats before that, so I expect to heat the water and add it, not cook something. In survival mode being able to cook for 15 to 20 minutes seems like a luxury, or a problem as wood smoke travels a long way. the flavor is good and I added cheese that made it really thick and fun to eat.

very tasty
Very tasty and filling. All the menus were easy to prepare. If you were just sitting around , they would be alright, but if you were working not so much. Not enough calories for three days. If you had some other form of dietary intake , ok.

On time
I originally was going to have this sent by slow mail. When I was reminded that we needed it sooner as a gift, I changed the shipping to 2nd day. That was at 10 pm. They had the order processed and on a truck the next morning. I had it with a day to spare. Great job on the shipping. The packaging was good, happy with the purchase.

Good taste, fair portions, long term storage, easy prep make for an easy to choose emergency food supply
Of all the emergency short supply kits so far this has been my favorite in taste. It is very salty, however, a few potatoes dropped into the slew while it is heating reduced that problem for us. Our favorite in the pack is the traveler's stew and lumberjack. For a back up food source that will last a long time this is a nice supply.

Patriot Pantry Emergency Survival Food Supply
This was a gift as a gag to my daughter; my daughter remembers my days in the Army and the C-Rations I use to bring home. Later they became 'Meal, Combat, Individual' and finally 'Meal Ready to Eat.' My son-in-law finds them very useful and very useful in the Dallas/Fort Worth area for emergency weather conditions.

OK but expensive for what you get
Ehhh... I have been trying many brands of emergency rations and this one is all soups or stews that look and taste like the same stuff you can buy at a grocery store, just paying a lot more because of the packaging.
